Rooney has definitely been a different player last few games or so, I really think dropping him has done him a world of good. It has shown him he is not an instant starter and given him that competitive edge back. Sure he's still not Rooney of old but a lot better than what we've seen for the majority of the past few years.

Can't fault this performance yet again, good stuff we are playing. I can say that a lot this season just a shame we don't get the goals to show for it most times in the league.

Not a bad prediction at all T.O.D! Good performance, but for the name of God we need to do it again at the weekend. Mkhitaryan simply needs to start.
 
It's finally nice to see us actually score goals. It does feel quite comfortable.

So close :) Just had a feeling with the team we put out and just surely had to hammer someone the way we been playing. Very good performance from everyone. Rooney in good form will be good for us, looks like got a point to prove. Mky deserved MOTM was class today all over the pitch. Martial will have a huge boost confidence. Carrick is the glue so charming and influential. Zlatan since Swansea game is banging then in again and assisting and good link up play. When we find some consistency we will be a danger for anyone! Hope we keep Basti till end of season. Great round dressing room and can help rotate Carrick.

Mourinho giving Chapecoense victims a lovely mention in the post match interview. He was also very happy with Mkhitaryan, the manner in which he spoke about him bodes very well for the weekend imo.
 
Ah...perfect way to set up a Liverpool-united final...Southampton are def no pushovers here so let's see.

Some players have come on leaps under Mourinho. Herrera, Rojo, Valencia, Jones and his handling of Rooney. Not to mention the football!

Yeah sounds good for Mky. Everyone has slated Mou and made up reasons to bash him about Mky not playing. But anyone who has followed his career early, knows he struggles to adapt to change.
