The Manchester United Thread

You now know what its like for everyone else facing de Gea the majority of the time. (Or EVERY time when he tips up at Anfield!).

I don't think I could name any goalkeeper to have got the MoM award in a game where his team won 3-1 (refering to last seasons game when DDG stopped around 10 absolute sure-fire goals).

I was literally standing up to applaud the guy at the end of that game.

Still brings a tear to my eye XD

Class act by Rio. One of the best defenders I have seen playing and a great character as well.

Wow. Just wow.

Philanthropy from those that can contribute back to help others is a real mark of a person to me. That's utterly fantastic.

Its not the first time either. He has been involved with (and done a lot of work for) a number of charities. After his early crazy days he's been a good family man as well. I met him with his wife and children in a hotel in Cyprus where we were both staying. Bought him a couple of beers at the pool bar (which was literally in the pool) and he sent us a nice expensive champagne in return. Very nice guy good family.

Good Lord. Just seen a short highlight clip from yesterday and that has to be one of the worst examples of referring for a LONG time.

First you have a no question straight red card for Rojo that completely changes the game at 0-0. (That's two in the last three games now that have been real dangerous and nasty from him. Need to reel that back in ASAP or the next official won't be so lenient.). Then missing not just the blatant hand ball from Zlatan but Pogba being offside the same move on Utd's first. Talking of blatant, just how do you not see the Palace fella punch the ball away for a stonewall penalty? Followed by the bizarre offside on Mata? With countless more doubtless missed in between.

Craig Pawson and his crew need to hang their heads in shame after making such bad calls on such blatant incidents.

bless rio for his act of kindness.Humanity needs to start looking after each other before its too late.Every premier league should be donating.shame on them for their greed.

See a lot of talk in Spain, Italy and a bit in the Telegraph. About Mourinho wants to bring Berta from Atletico Madrid either in Jan or the Summer. Would be great if true he's been fantastic for them at recruiting quality players. Ed has been better of late. But it would be ideal for him to deal with the financial side and Berta the transfers.

Fair play Rio... Always liked him, just like Drogba. Top bloke.

Manchester United's Reserves return to action in the Premier League International Cup on Thursday night (kick-off 19:00 GMT) with Sparta Prague bringing a continental flavour to the proceedings at Leigh Sports Village.

The side from the Czech Republic lost 2-1 to Villarreal on Tuesday at St George's Park with Richard Sedlacek's late missed penalty proving costly. The result leaves holders Villarreal level on points with United but they have completed their three games.

Ro-Shaun Williams missed United's FA Youth Cup defeat to Southampton on Monday with a knee injury sustained in training but Callum Gribbin's withdrawal during the Old Trafford tie suggests he could be under consideration for the Reserves.

Interim coach Nicky **** played with wing-backs at Chelsea in the 3-1 league defeat last time out and it will be interesting to see how the Reds line up in the live MUTVclash.

United finish off the Group B campaign with a game next Thursday at Leigh Sports Village against Middlesbrough, who currently have a 100 per cent record following two 1-0 victories.

Only the two best runners-up join the six group winners in the knockout stages.

Another forum, another debate, but this is pure nonsense.

Governments need to act and start educating people.
Education needs to be forced on people or it's mandatory military service*.

Too many jobless knobends going around impregnating other jobless facebook junkie 'burds' and who pays???
The people who work!!

Not the little kids fault... And lots of love to the little ones... But it's a cycle of career welfare claimants and needs to stop.

*I did my time. Did me the world of good.

Why is his point pure nonsense? I don't get how it can be. More people sharing and caring in this world can only be a good thing.

Maybe if the government was not focused on making the rich richer and the poor poorer this wouldn't be such an issue as it is right now. Also dare I say maybe if they were controlling the population more in terms of immigration (and other aspects don't get me wrong) then people wouldn't be struggling so badly to live and most importantly, get a job.

I'm not saying that any one thing is to blame but seriously now more than ever, people need to look out for each other because you know for **** sure that the government or anyone above us isn't.
