Amazing how people go silent on Pogba for months, then suddenly crow again after one bad game (let's ignore the fact he was excellent vs both Arsenal and Spurs).

Poor 1st half plan, much better 2nd. Draw a fair result, much like the first time round.

Well I'm gonna' be out of pocket £25 on train tickets if L'pool don't.

Virgin train sales are just the best!
Don't the club subsidie your trains? They subsidise virgin at Arsenal for away games. You should check on the club website.

I don't think we were poor in the 1st half. If I recall, Liverpool created next to nothing in the first half. Pogba gave them their only clear cut chance plus we created a few good openings ourselves

No. But good on Arsenal for that. Tottenham put on a cheap train for their fans the League Cup at Anfield so they could come up and get back being as the last normal train's down to London from here are something ridiculous like ten to 9.

Credit where it's due when clubs do good. Brill from both North London clubs.

Talking Virgin, both games at St. Mary's this year have been £20 down to Virgin knocking an extra 10er off all away ticket prices down there this year which has been great of them.

By our own standards that we've set over the past couple of months, when we compare it to the way we played against similar opposition in Spurs and Arsenal at Old Trafford, it was poor. I'll give credit to how Liverpool defended though, very compact. They did well on constantly closing Martial, and Lovren was excellent.

Anyone else find it amusing that even goalkeeper like Mignolet has a good day against us? What is it with goalkeeprrs and old Trafford this season, it seems to inspire them into a masterclass or something.

You've probably just forgot how normal football looks like after 2 years of LVG creating 1 chance per game and usually ending up in a goal.

He's been pretty much picture perfect the last 5 games ever since he's returned the side. His kicking is still utter wank like but that's never changing. For the first time in his L'pool career he has serious competition and he knows he doesn't perform, he has a manager that has no fear of switching. The competition seems to be inspiring him.

Klopp's played this situation perfectly between the two and each is pushing the other.

All that aside, this is what it's like facing de Gea.

You have it on your side every game with De Gea lol

Really hate Monday morning 6am starts, even worse when you sleep f*** all courtesy of a few beers the evening before. But anyway, caught up on the post-match reactions, as I wasn't bothered watching any after the game, and how on God's earth can Klopp say all our second half control/pressure was just long balls? And apparently, they were the "better side" and "deserved the 3 points" - what game was he watching? Behave Jurgen. You scored from a Pogba **** up against the run of play which stemmed from a big braindead moment from Phil Jones, and had shown nothing prior to that. The only way Liverpool were able to look threatening after that, was us having to push for the equaliser/win. He threw the "long ball" dig in there a few times, as if Fellaini came on at half time and not a few mins shy of the 80th minute. But hey, say it with a smile on his face in an Arnold Schwarzenegger voice and he's funny. Anyone else says it, not naming names, then they're the worst thing since socks & sandals.

The draw was the fair result, but if it had to sway one way, I'd imagine the team who had the best chances in a poor first half, and the team who were the better team in the second half, would have the better claim. HOWEVER, neither team really deserved to lose that game, as nothing was left on that pitch.
