The Manchester United Thread

My life is mundane and I need to project my frustration in a successful persons direction

I guess damola thinks He is trolling the Youtube comment section?
Unlike TOD, I didn't even get a laugh out of it :S I just felt a little sad for him.

Terrible match last night. The players almost looked like 'Take a breather' was selected ;), But we are in the final and that's a nice way to start the weekend.

Yeah, unlike Scouse who actually tries to have a conversation even with plenty disagreeing with him, I don't think damola is anything other than a troll who thinks he's cleverer than he actually is.

Anyway awful game, Hull deserved the win, finally we lose but it's a loss that didn't cost us. Onwards towards Wigan, we will need to wake up and play better

Not trolling at all. I know that it wouldn't go down well but it's true. It's hard to argue vs any of those points. What's he done that's any special?

I suspect we might see a few changes. Bailly will probably return to the line up, at Smallings cost. Still not sure how Rojo isn't banned

Expect to see Bailly, Valencia, Shaw, Mkytarian, Martial all start at the weekend.

Romero
Valencia,Bailly,Rojo,Shaw
Herrera
Pogba,Fellaini
Mky,Rooney,Martial

Hull have just had better coaching. The difference was startling.

Fair enough claiming I'm stupid but you have to back up that opinion. What have I said that's innacurate?

I can easily pick apart each element of your comment and the inaccuracies of it, however I am not inclined to do so. As the quote says, there is no point, and you are entitled to your opinion, however don't try and pass it of as the truth and that it is accurate, it is merely an opinion, not fact.

I do not go into the Arsenal thread to mock Wenger for no reason. The reason for that is that you support Arsenal and understand the club better because of that. The same applies here, most here watch every united game, and have built our own conclusions around how we play and what Mourinho is doing.

The point I'm trying to make here, is that you do not accept other opinions, clinging to your own with no compromise. The fact everyone has slaughtered your post should make you think "hmmm...maybe I need to rethink that."

Ii never claimed it was fact. I don't like being called a troll for saying something unpopular. I wasn't mocking Mourinho at all. It was a criticism.

Anybody not yet come to their senses and seen that Mourinho is a conman? He was shown up by Silva. He's slowly destroying United. There are more managers better than Mourinho than young wide fowards better than Martial yet Martial gets frozen out. The guy's a past it coach. His tenure at Real Madrid signalled his decline. He can't reinvent himself. The reason United were bad was tactical ineptude more than complacency. Mourinho didn't have a clue. Almost reeks of the 2015 game at PSG when PSG bossed Chelsea with 10 men! See that beautiful positional play and movement from the back? Mourinho couldn't coach that.

All he does is bully out top players and convince fans he's the saviour, creating unneeded paranoia. KGB, Mata, Lukaku etc were all sacrificed in return for a single league title.

This season, after huge spending, Mourinho and his superstars arrogantly asserted United's title challenge. After a decent season start, United crumbled against any half decent side. Remember the half vs City? He's failed to get the best out of his players and his team are 6th. A reality check is needed. Mhkitaryan was frozen out for months (arguably your best player), yet he's still seen as some sort of genius at United! Is he a Chelsea agent in disguise?
Lmao. So if we spank Hull next week, will you still come online bro?

C'mon, you're better than this garbage you just wrote up. From the first minute, you could see the players just sat back and were sort of lazy. We lacked the intensity that we had in previous matches. What happened against city was as a result of trusting fellaini too much.

If Mourinho is destroying us I want to know what the f*ck LVG was doing! Lets not even get on to Moyes! I suppose Damola must think LVG is a rentboy if Mourinho is a conman! Moyes a prozzie?

Now you lads are discussing a troll post instead of chatting about our upcoming visit to Wembley for a cup final.

Troll gets the attention and result He craved.

I know I'll get roasted for this, but I still find it hard to get excited over this competition. I mean yes it's good we've made it to the final but out of all the competitions in England we're in it's definitely the least prestigious by a mile. Unless you count something like the community shield but that's a friendly in reality.

If we are in a competition I want to win it. Is it the least important? Yes. But I still want it.

It's nice to get the winning mentality back from this if nothing else. I mean it's something to add to the trophy cabinet as well of course.

There's definitely some remaining questions about whether Mourinho still has it. For one, his bizzare freezing out of players should definitely raise some eyebrows. There's also no escaping the fact that he botched start of the season to such an extent, that you're still firmly planted at 6th despite title winning run of games.

All that said, he has turned the ship around for now, in terms of not just the results, but the style of play and general atmosphere around the club. And that's not nothing.

I still thinking that Morinho is a time bomb ticking away till explosion, but at the end of the day, nobody will care as long as he gets results. As much as I liked LVG, he could never find some sort of consistency. Some games the team would look like Barcelona in the making, some days the limpdick style of play made me want to poke my eyes out. Right now the situation may be dire but you can at least see exciting games and consistent potential.
