The sad thing is if we pip Arsenal and not Liverpool to 4th, I reckon that would finally make them hire another manager over Wenger.

Point. If it takes Arsenal not being in the top 4 is what it takes for a manager change then maybe it's not a good thing.
 
Couldn't give a toss who we pip or what consequences follow, top 4 or winning the Europa League is very important in my eyes. Don't mean to sound like a snob, and Europa League is a great competition, but we're a Champions League club, with a Champions League manager, with Champions League players, with Champions League transfer targets. We need to get back. Hope AC Milan get back soon too, they're very much a CL club.
 
We need to earn that right first. That starts by not continually dropping poor points.

We need to earn the right tbh. While I agree with what your saying, we simply haven't been good enough in seasons of late. And till we improve, which we are doing and until we are back int the CL we are a Europa league club. That's just the way it is until we get back in the CL.
 
Oh I'm not disrespecting those who have recently qualified for the CL, nor those who occupy the top 4 slots, they have deserved to be where they are. I'm just saying we need to take one of their spots. I don't care which team it suffers because of it, I don't care if it results to them sacking their manager, all I care about is our club getting back to the CL which would be a massive step in getting our club back to the stature it once was, or at least nearer to it.
 
And for what it's worth, I usually support all PL teams in Europe (unless it directly effects United in some way, ie; the winner of Chelsea v Benfica to play United in the final, no prizes for guessing who I'd be wanting to advance), and I want all sides to be much better than they've been in recent seasons.

Signing Griezmann won't have any effect on Martial whatsoever they play different positions/roles. He's most likely replacing Rooney.
 
Yeah, agree with T.O.D.

Do you think he could lead our line post Zlatan? I personally prefer him playing off a striker, whether it be as a right inside forward or in the #10.

Yeah defo playing off a STR. If rumours are true Mourinho wants another STR to be ready post Zlatan. I can see us switching back to Mourinho 4231 we tried at the start of season, but with the players he has to play it well. Something like

DDG
Valencia-Bailly-Linderlof-Shaw
Bakayoko-Pogba
Mky-Griezmann-Martial
Zlatan

Or someone like Icardi,Lukaku,Belotti
 
griezmann and martial are obviously teammates so it could spur him on to actually stiill be here when he(hopefully)arrives.not suggesting griezmann would take up martials position but there will undoubtedly be other arrivals.

Oh yeah for sure. Think we will see a good turn over this Summer with a fair few leaving. Signing a RB, CB, CM, ST, Griezmann.

To just shut Evertonians getting WAY above their station right now up would be a good thing!

Utd fail to win today (distinctly possible being as Leicester are beyond desperate for points and you've fully embraced mediocrity again since the L'pool game) they'll have an open top bus parade lined up for surpassing yers next weekend!

As much as nobody wants to see Utd winning football games, gloating Blues are a FAR worse prospect!
