The Manchester United Thread

That's mg only frustration this season. And that's the amount of chances we're missing. The football is 10x better than anything we've seen since the latter years of Fergie era. Yes we are not firing in all cylinders yet, but we are defo getting there under Mourinho. And will be even better next season no doubt no excuses! 2016/17 is already looking like being a good season. Next season is gonna be something special (6)

Have #mufc built the best scouting network in Europe following massive overhaul? Have a look here http://trainingground.guru/articles/man-utd-scouts-summoned-for-meeting-after-huge-overhaul … p

No not really. Because we can still do something very good this year. We are not Liverpool ;)

We are still in the hunt for the League Cup, FA cup and the Europa League. So it's not exactly doom and gloom.
Several players are not playing up to standard and need to either buck up or **** off to France (or some other cushy league).

Our finishing is shocking at the moment, and the amount of possession given away by needlessly sloppy simple passes by some of our "world class" stars in the final third is atrocious.

The football has improved, no doubt about that, but it's the end product that needs addressing.
You can coach a player 7 days a week on how to kick a ball into the back of the net. But at the end of the day, if that player does not have enough wherewithal about them to execute it during a match, we will always struggle.

United need an instinctive finisher in my opinion.
I don't want flicks and fancy touches... I want the ball in the back of the f***ing net.

Exactly! Don't get the doom and gloom from our own fans atm, maybe more frustration which I understand. Don't think there's another team in the league that can achieve what we can this season (6)

U18s just beat Wolves 3-0 goals by Gomes, Bohui, Dearnly. 3 great goals all different. Gomes was a brilliant individual effort making that his 12th of the season I think. Bohui goal with some nice one touch football, good team goal. And Dearnly was a magnificent volley from 25yrds out. Gomes was great but Oconner was MOTM for me.

Pogba in particular needs to work on his finishing. To his credit, he's got into some fantastic positions this season, but has missed some big chances.

He just need to unlearn that shoot at the woodwork ppm...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! You let Niasse score and he's worse than *****. Everton have been trying to give him away but still can't get rid of the fraud.

Hang your heads in shame!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Niasse scored his first ever PL goal. Hang your heads in shame! XD

Awww mate. Nice one. Having a mooch around the net killing 10 minutes in frigging Leeds station waiting for a connection, thinking I could do with being out for the night when I get back after that *****; and you step forward and remind me we're as ***** as the most expensively assembled squad in World football down the other end of the East Lancs with our top signing at £30 million.

Don't feel quite as bad now. Ta for the pick-me-up la. :).

Well, you're as ***** as our reserves on that logic. But no problem XD

I think Liverpool losing to Hull makes Liverpool worse than United since we drew :P

Ever since Gerrard came back, Liverpool hasn't won a single game.
