The Manchester United Thread

Top 4 will still be much harder than Europa, so we certainly ned to put the priority on Celta Vigo match.

I can see us losing against Spurs with our team we can field right now, we'll struggle against Arsenal as well.

I can honestly see Wegner leaving at the end of the season he seems to have gone as far as he can with this Arsenal squad. Hopefully they will win the cup to give him something to celebrate and prevent Chelski from winning the double....

Would still prefer Wanyama over Dier, if I had to sign one. Wanyama is a ****** brute.

Would take either. They compliment each other well in CM. Dier makes up for Wanyama lack of quality on the ball. But Wanyama edges it on the defencive side.

Don't think Dier is that great on the ball either tbh.

Remember back in the day people were questioning signing Dembele for our midfield, we missed out there.

Yeah he's developed into a top CM at Spurs for sure. Think Dier is underrated with his passing.

No, I just don't like dealing with Levy when it comes to transfers. He'll probably charge us about 60 million pound

Genuine question but would players be willing to leave Tottenham for any club in the EPL at the moment? They have a fantastic young team at the moment with a brilliant manager in Pochettino that is on the verge of winning major trophies. Probably the closest they have been at any time in the last 20 years.

Probably not but I was just bringing it up because we've been linked with Dier quite a lot lately.

Can't see Levy letting anyone go considering the progress Pochettino has made as well as the need to keep key players together through the upheavel of the stadium move.

Levy will test any buyers resolve especially when clubs appear to be 'deseparate'. You will always end up paying over the odds. That said Sheringham and Carrick proved to be good buys at the price.

I can't see any Key Players in Spurs wanting to leave for any other PL Club? maybe abroad but not any other PL Club?

I don't either which to be fair is a good thing for them, but ultimately every player has their price and Levy is an expert at getting the price he wants.

I still can't believe PL clubs wouldn't pay pitiful 30 million for Modric. How can you be so blind. The guy deserved world transfer record much more than eitther Bale or Pogba.

Just finished watching the match again. Don't know why lol. But after watching extended highlights of the City game before hand. It just goes to show how important Pogba is to our team. I would go as far to say THE most important player. Without him there is not link up play from defence in to the attacking players. Against City we missed that ability to transition from defence to fast counter attacking football when in possession. And today against Swansea despite seeing much more of the balk we didn't have his quality to spot Rashford making very good runs. For me better depth in CM is just as key as the attacking signings this Summer.
