The Manchester United Thread

Rum. Interesting. Not what I thought I'd ever read.

I shall (hopefully) look forward to investigating in Talin the 2018 Super Cup.

The main one being him and Mourinho don't get on.

I suppose we will have to take your word on it.
Seeing as you were involved heavily in most of the training sessions and interactions between A world famous football manager and Christiano Ronaldo.

Wait a sec????? Aren't you just a football fan sitting at home on a computer???

You almost had me there, you little tyke. 8-|

Busted ;) But it's well known and in there books and many reports of a very poor relationship. Ronaldo even speaks in one of his books how they nearly came to blows and didn't really get on in his turbulent last months at the club. Calderon has said many times of the pair having very heated arguments inside and outside the changing room.

Theres more chance of me stop posting transfer tweets than Ronnie coming back here :P

I wouldn't like to think which was easier trying to negotiate.

Repairing their relationship to bring him back to Utd. Or trying to get a Madrid boy to leave his club when he's potentially set to be the focal point in the coming years.

This isn't even worth talking about from a United perspective.

My main worry right now is that this will stall the Morata deal... thanks a lot Cristiano.

So the reported pricetag on Eric Dier is £50m. Lol. Surely you sign Fabinho for that? Matic for less

The only thing stalling the Morata deal is his wedding and honeymoon imo. It's been well reported that we have a deal with the player and his agent. I'm sure by the time he's back the clubs will have agreed a deal between each other.

I actually don't think it's bad for that price all things considered. There must be a good reason why Mou isn't interested in Fabinho and City for that fact. Think it's just a case of Monaco selling Bakayoko instead and Fabinho staying. Don't think Conte wants to sell Matic tbh. I'd take Dier at DM.

Oh God T.O.D slap yourself on the face and edit/delete that XD You're happy to break the world record for a DM, on the limited, rather stiff, Eric ****** Dier?

Slapped :) but would still be happy with Dier. The fees high no doubt but considering Utd tax and Levy tax he's English full international. Been key for Spurs upturn in form and the huge inflation in the market I still don't think it's a bad deal. They ain't that many DMs of top level out there tbh.

The only reason they're content on letting him go is because he's the worst DM they have. Dembele/Wanyama>Dier. I'd have either of them, Matic, even Romeu of Soton, before Dier - and that's just in this league. Just don't like him at all, but willing to be proved wrong.

I would be surprised if he leaves tbh same goes to Matic. Think Dier is a better pure DM just doesn't have the passing of Romeu. Like I said not that many options. Would of said Carvalho or Danilo from the Portuguese league but both have been poor and both sets of fans would be happy if they were sold especially Sporting fans with Carvalho.

dier is a good player but £50 mill?too much imo and i agree id rather have matic, romeu or fabinho over him
