Sad, but hope he develops into an animal plus we sign a replacement.

Why in the World would you want a 'replacement' signed? If you hope any loan would be beneficial, why would you want another player in his way? Not like there's a shortage of options to start with.

I doubt TFM is linked to Aurier tbh.

He needs to go make 30 appearances a season, but he also needs to play at this level. Very much the right call.

Would love to see the Seri Roberto rumours be true

Now that one would make sense as to why we've passed up/not seriously pursued Fabinho. Similar profile.

Would Palace be that beneficial a move though? de Boer is talking about changing their style and getting away from just sitting in but that's gonna' take time. And looking at his early efforts, even with a change to 5 at the back he wasn't pushing the FB's up much the games in Asia the summer. And they weren't playing much football. Just looking for Zaha as the outlet every opportunity.

Getting games on loan is one thing. But getting the right games at a club who does similar to what you do is a whole other.

Quotes from Ducker in the Telegraph-

Says Mourinho assured TFM he has future at Man United and he sees him as a long term successor for Valencia but needs to get more discipline.

Under De Boer, definitely. I think he will do well there.

Ta. Hope he does. Regardless of whether his future is at Utd or not, he needs to be kick starting his career now.

Mourinho on Jones
“I was expecting the appeal would turn out negative. No Jones and no Eric Bailly. No Fosu-Mensah.”he's going on loan."

“The injuries are the long-term ones you all know – Luke Shaw, Ashley Young, Marcos Rojo. Apart from that, everyone is available.”Shaw is the closest."

Mourinho on Matic
“He is available but obviously not available like the others.”

Mourinho says if Bale plays tomorrow it will mean Real want him and he wants to stay. If he wants to leave then he'll try to get him. #mufc

A lot can happen going forward. You yourself were convinced telling us he'd get lots of minutes this year for Utd which now doesn't appear to be the case.

But regardless. I like him from the little I've seen so good look to him in hopefully getting his pro-career up and running.

Is it the Super Cup this week? God, it's getting earlier and earlier. Went for long enough after they moved away from two legs to a one off game in Monaco to be the week of the European draw to give every bigwig a jolly up in Monte Carlo. Now you don't know where you are?

Hmmm, tough one. A Madrid win takes them one clear of L'pool into clear second all time SC victories. A Utd win, is, well, a Utd win.

Who to root for?

Intersting to see Ashley Young and Luke Shaw doing full training with the first team squad before the SC. Not saying there ready but must be fairly close.

Mourinho: "Inter are strong, they put up a good defence to keep someone (Perisic) who’s an important player for them. That’s football.”

Curious question. Presuming you're still employed by them.

I thought BT had the rights to all CL/ Europa League footie the next three years? Meant to ask last week the Everton game. I know Everton are garbage like, but how come they ended up on ITV4? This some sort of split deal?

Don't think they own the rights to qualifying rounds

Any ideas on tonight's formation? He going to use same back three as he did against Sampdoria ?
