The Manchester United Thread

Thanks Scouse, I'll have a look at that as soon as I get a chance.
I had an electrical concession in a department store in Dublin in the early 00's which had an alley out the back separating the main building from the stock rooms. Bumped into Paul out the back once, sitting with some wino's, horsing down a bottle of red and a naggin of vodka.
Chap barely knew he was there.
Very sad day for me.

God how horribly sad for you to experience first hand.

He seems to of come out the other side now and is doing a whole bunch better which is great to hear. Seems a real nice, humble fella' who was, IMHO, one of the best British (I know. Irelands not Britain per se but indulge me) defenders of all time. Those years at Villa when he didn't train at all through the week with his knees, got bladdered all week, then tipped up and was the best player on the park every Sat'day said it all.

Tremendous, top class defender and leader of men. A genuine legend who gets sadly overlooked because he hasn't got the medal haul and never courted the spotlight. And then conversely you have an absolute loathsome shithouse of a man like John Terry who's lorded by the English media and Neanderthals that follow the National side.

Conpletely ****** up but says it all.

Pogba close again from a corner after the Swansea game just can't quite score from one

LB is still a weakness in this squad, as we all know. Darmian just isn't as assured in that position as Blind defensively imo. Hopefully Shaw can come back soon and reclaim it but if not, might need to go out in January and get one.

What was Jese doing? Breaks so well, then runs across the pitch going nowhere and gives a terrible ball to Allen.

Well that was completely against the run of play.

My god, our defence has been poor today. Phil feckin Jones.

Poor DDG, pulls that off and then score straight away.

Top drawer, World class save from de Gea. That lead to a more than deserved equaliser the way Stoke have had a real go and dominated the second half.

Belting game now.

The first half anything like the second? Literally turned on as Stoke scored and then you equalised so only saw the bad defending the end the half both sides.

Real good second half like. Interesting to see if Stoke can keep up the pace and work rate. Put a heck of a lot in the first 25 since HT.

God that's a dead poor miss for the winner Lukaku. Great ball from Martial.

And this 180 seconds between posts thing is a real pain when you're posting during a match.
