The Manchester United Thread

Thanks Scouse :D

I can't even get mad at that scoreline at half time.
We have been utter *****.

What’s the ref been like? At work so just getting bits on SSN and twitter and fans, pundits, press saying he’s been poor?

The ref has been alright, no significant impact on the game.

Don't let any of that distract from how ***** we've been. I mean, the worst 45 mins I've seen all this season, by far.

Offered next to nothing with the ball and in the final third. The defensive mistakes have been comical and have cost us two goals. Don't get me started on the latter with Lindelof, he's awful.

76% of possession and 2 nil down XD
We did change managers... yes?

Oh ok just wondering. Ducker said we should of had a peno.

All 3 subs used. Mkhi + Rashford on, throwing the kitchen sink at this. Bit risky though, 1 injury and we're down to 10

The fact that we're title contenders supposedly and using Young as a LB always concerns me.

I know I'll get a load of replies telling me how he can do a job there, which he can, but he's not a natural LB. Never has been and never will be.

Young being at left back has got absolutely nothing to do with his passing though.

Well, quite frankly, that was abysmal. Don't be blinded by the last 10 mins with the inevitable throwing everyone forward.

Days like today convince me that we are not good enough to win the title. We needed them 3 points today as we now have Spurs and Chelsea, so more points shall be dropped.

Everyone was poor, Rashford only a bright spark when he came on.

Two donkey errors, they capitalized, and defended with their lives. We didn't look like scoring until big Chris went up top - this was tailor-made for Fellaini.

And boy do we need Pogba back!

Chelsea have also dropped points this season . So what you're saying is only city can win the title

I said I wouldn't criticize lindelof since the friendlies but I see very little hope at this point. I was the first to call him out here and you lot said I was crazy and my comments were asinine and premature (of course granted it was preseason). My goodness, imagine him going up against the likes of Kane and aguero. I'd need to take some laxatives before watching that so I don't have to do laundry that day.

Absolute shambles!

Tbf, you judged him on a friendly. We weren't wrong to call you out on it. However, you'll get no arguments for criticizing his error today.

Far to early to right him off tbh. He’s looked solid in the games he’s played so far. He’s gonna make mistakes when he’s trying to settle in and not hardly playing.

Young is not a natural LB.

Seriously, that term needs to die already. It's a normal occurence in modern football that people transition from full back to wingers, or the other way around. Especially in the case of "technically limited but hard-working" winger type. Valencia or Dortmund's former Blaszczykowski/Groskreutz winger duo. Guys like that spend most of their career being basically a full back who plays really high.
