I really do not understand the interest in Moura. United have more than enough depth on the wings and some real quality players as well. Spending so much on a youngster who is hot and cold in the Brazilian League does not make any sense. Moura has great potential but as Tim Vickery said.. He needs to get his head down and start being more consistent

I think this is the only deal that we will do hope im wrong and we get a CM aswell!
With the way we are making bids, it would make sense to test Juve's resistance by making bid for Vidal. Very unrealistic though. Still I believe these bids and Fergie confirming interest is just IPO stunt. Going by SAF's interview we won't be signing CM. He said
I don't know anything about moura. but I don't get one thing which is since when does fergie talks so openly about transfer targets. what is satisfying is that he says we're not laying on our backs and trying to sign some players.

Have to admit if you lot do sign Lucas for the amount of crazy money estimated floating around and considering he is coming from a completely different footballing culture... I think he is a flop signing in waiting.
He would succeed in Spain most likely but I think if he came over here and didn't make any immediate fireworks the press would be on him in no time.
Interested to see why you haven't been linked to a genuine deep lying cm yet... Fergie banking a lot of hope on Cleverley staying fit this season as back up for Carrick???

The press were all over Dave at the start hoping and praying for him to fail. Lucas will be just fine. Plenty of Portuguese-speaking players already at the club.
And they said David Silva, Mata etc wouldnt make the transition to English football either

I'm worried that the arrival of Moura would see Nani transfer listed, and I'm even more concerned about Welbeck packing his bags if we sign Van Persie. The next 5 weeks are going to be very interesting, that's for sure.

The IPO is going down badly, i wouldnt go with much at the mo, because they need United to sound like the dogs bollocks right now, so it could be for show (perhaps why we took so long to deny the mega amounts of money being bandied about?)
And the only thing Lucas and Walcott have in common is that they play wide, and they are quick as lightning.
Yeah we can assume few theories on why SAF discussed transfer targets. Most believable IMO is the season ticket sale. There are few reports that season ticket sales are down.
Not sure what to believe, it is very confusing. What is even more confusing is every press conference SAF is talking about a big transfer. Wonder who is the next in line.
Every season we try and work him out, every season he does something else. He's definitely not doing nothing that's for sure.

I think moura and rvp will be main targets, would be big signings= maybe draw more crowds/tickets sales and look good for the ipo.
