NO. Kagawa isn't like Silva, apart from the fact that they are both AMs and both quick, and agile. Silva is very much a creator. Kagawa is less creative, but a bigger goal threat. Much more a goal scoring AM than a playmaker like Silva.
Agree but think kagawa can do both which imo makes him more of a complete player than silva cant wait till he links up with rooney:D

He had an amazing amount of assists with Dortmund last year i think so creativity Kagawa, Valencia and Young being really consistent with supplying goals and then Nani providing the odd moment of magic. Attacking midfield options are great. so Why Mora unless fergie has given up on Van Persie

I agree he is less creative than Silva, but certainly still a creative player, did you see some of his passes in the pre season tour thus far?

Also his assists for Dortmund were pretty good as well.

I still think he is after both and will use moura as a CM/AMC

Kagawa can surely play that role, he has incredible vision and Rooney is going to have a field day with his through balls

Some of his passing has made me get through some tissues these past couple of friendlies:P

Kagawa is a good passer, and creative in him own right, but his game style isnt like Silva's at all.

high mike do you think berba, macheda, bebe will be there this season or will be sold/loaned out been quite impressed with bebe in last 2 friendlies and macheda has looked sharp aswell maybe the pennie has finally dropped with these 2?

Anderson looked horribly unfit today and his lack of a right foot is a huge weakness imo. I hope we sign another CM :/

Berba - Would like him to stay, but will probably leave.
Kiko - Loan, where he actually gets games.
Bebe - Loan.

Berbatov will almost certainly leave. Macheda probably on loan. Bebe might actually stay at the club.

I have high hopes for him this season thought he looked better today than in last game seemed to have more energy, agree is very one footed but it is a good foot will only get better imo!

Christ's sake, there's no ******* way you can compare Silva to Kagawa. Silva is world class at what he does, which is to pull the strings on the final third of the pitch and chip in with the odd goal or two. Kagawa, while having a good eye for a pass, is nowhere (and I mean exactly that) near Silva when it comes to creative play. He will, however, score a lot more goals than Silva, making use of the space created by [Insert striker], coupled with his off-the-ball movement and his pace.

They have completely different skillsets, and although their position requires both of them to be good at both creating goals and scoring them, Silva excells in the former while Kagawa is stronger in the latter.

Only asked coz if we sell berba and loan macheda do yopu think 3 str is enough hence the rvp situation?

And on Anderson... he's not good enough for you guys and I doubt he'll ever be, he was a promising player but injuries took a toll on him, phisically and mentally.

I dont think we will sign CM i think this season he will be bringing through players like petrucci, tunnicliffe, powell, lingard so they are developed for when he retires.

17 goals and 13 assist last season for Dortmund, not too shabby...

Agreed, he is similar to Silva in the way he plays yes, however, he is more of an Inside Forward (if referring to FM terms) than an Attacking Mid :)

Check 2:20 seconds :) classy!

Bebe - Loan.

Berbie will go, he needs to play 1st team footie, hopefully to Italy where he could play for another 4 years :)
Kiko - loan, hopefully to a Premier League team like newly promoted..
Bebe - after last nights game I think he might stay, he had a cruciate ligament damage at Besiktas and I have a funny feeling he has impressed SAF and might play a few games this season.. He wont be another Obtertan, he will do well for United, like I said about Nani all those years ago, give them time :)

agreed, he makes passing look like the most difficult thing to do on the planet.. he really makes it look hard work lol! Fergie changed him though so I can't really blame him.. He was an attacking mid like Kagawa is when he played for Porto but Fergie tried to mould him to a Keane type player and it was a mistake in my opinion!

I can't stress enough how much I love Beckham.

Manchester United are thought to have postponed temporarily plans to launch their $300m (£193m) flotation in New York, after volatile US markets spooked the Premier League club into a rethink.

The move is the latest setback in a long-running attempt to list the company's shares, a move that had previously been earmarked for the exchanges in Hong Kong and Singapore, and comes as the club had been looking to kick off their roadshow presentations to potential share buyers this week.

However, United and their advisers are now believed to be reassessing that plan following another week of turmoil in the eurozone that has caused world stock markets to slide. Wall Street's S&P 500 index is trading down 2% this week, while keenly watched statistics on the volatility of the market are thought to have made potential investors more circumspect.

The plan had been for United's shares to begin trading in early August and it is not clear if United will still attempt to list their shares ahead of the traditionally quiet period up until after the US public holidays in early September, when Wall Street tends to return to work.

Neither Jefferies, the investment bank that has been signed up to lead United's flotation, nor the club returned phone calls on the flotation delay, reported on Wednesday night in the Financial Times.
Manchester United were acquired by the Glazer family for £790m in 2005, in a deal that was heavily criticised by the club's fans for its reliance on debt financing. That debt pile appeared to play a part in the Glazers' consideration of a flotation, amid reports that part of the $1bn raised by the flotation would be used to pay down the club's £423.2m in gross debt.

Despite the reported pause, the Glazers have laid the ground for a flotation across the Atlantic, filing their intention at the New York Stock Exchange to float a Manchester United company registered in the Cayman Islands.

Manchester United fans, thousands of whom have campaigned against the Glazers' ownership, have welcomed the prospect of a listing and not only because it would dilute the Glazers' shareholding. The Manchester United Supporters' Trust has said it would support the share sell-off if the proceeds were used to pay off debt.

For some fans last season's performance, which saw the team slip up in the run-in and hand the title to their arch-rivals Manchester City, was seen as the tipping point when financial constraints finally began to impede the club's ability to compete for top players. Fans hope that a less indebted club will be able to spend more on transfers, but Sir Alex Ferguson has never criticised the Glazers' ownership publicly.
Manchester United had eyed a listing in the far east, the fastest-growing region of the world economy, but that was pulled amid general concerns over market volatility.

Other companies have suffered from the factors of eurozone turbulence and weak demand that have derailed their Asian listing plans.

Formula One shelved a $10bn flotation in Singapore after expressing concerns over the impact of the eurozone crisis on markets.
