Dont think it’s a dig at Pogba tbh. It’s clear as day looking through match day threads and social media. That unless your flash and do flicks and tricks or are **** on FM or FIFA your already not fancied by a lot of fans.

Im sure the media will love to take that quote to use and twist to get more clicks and sales no doubt.....
 
RE: McTominay? Just too slow in possession, loses it a fair bit, and my biggest grip is for a big lump he always seems to lose a lot of physical battles. Average enough passer too.

I love to see a local lad come through as much as the next guy, but you gotta call it how you see it too. Wouldn't stand out in the championship, imho.

Remember even worse being said about the likes of Fletcher, Drinkwater, Henderson even some Barca and Bayern, Madrid and Juve fans saying the same things about Busquets and especially Khedira despite being international players and key players in the teams at certain times.

Need to give the kid time. He’s actually a fairly decent passer. Yeah sometimes looses the ball a bit but that will improve with time and experience in the league. He is very strong mentally and has been composed on the ball throughout his career to date development wise. He was actually good at driving forward with the ball at u23s and usually looking for the forward pass, will will come at this level with time and confidence.

Not saying he’s gonna be a star or a key player in our starting line up. But he can develop into a good alround BTB in the squad over the next couple of seasons.

Also don’t get this argument (not you btw mate!) that he wouldn’t be on Madrid, Bayern, Barca, City, Chelsea or any other squad in Europe. Then he shouldn’t be in ours. Baffling if you ask me!

Like when Lingard or Gomes have been classed as that on these here pages. (Not by yourself.).

Yeah he was deemed a sideways simple pass merchant by a lot of Utd fans when he signed. Also remember a lot of fans saying Henderson and Dembele were average at best at Sunderland and Fulham.

People als need to remember he’s grown from 5,6 to 6,5 in the last 18 months most likely still growing into his body. That’s a huge growth spurt.

I always loved Carrick, and he always showcased fantastic range. I do agree though, I often argued that point vs United fans through his underappreciated years.
 
Carrick just had big shoes to fill tbh. Most of the fanbase was used to watching Beckham, Scholes and Giggs, who were not only more flashy passers but also more flashy characters. Enter Carrick with his more conservative playstyle and I can't blame people for thinking he's just a less ****** Cleverley. The way I remember it, he didn't really start to get appreciated until most of the old guard has retired.
 
Man City beat Inter after penalties, and if United beat Liverpool tomorrow, we will face City in the quater-finals of the UEFA Youth League

Top go to lady BTW Amanda Jacks if anyone ever finds themselves in Police trouble home or abroad the footie. Never accept a caution would be my advice. Put it back on them to either charge you, or more than likely just kick you out. Which is often the incentive for offering one to begin with. You know you've done nottin' wrong there's nottin' they can charge you with. You accept that and it can lead to a whole heap of trouble across your life.
