Hope for changes on Saturday can’t possibly play the same team! Would like to see

Swap them for Sanchez. He shouldnt be anywhere near the starting 11. If theres a team you don't want to constantly give the ball away to its Liverpool. Especially if its while we're attacking (probably not in this game but who knows) and they keep hitting us on the counter.

Cant see Carrick starting this game. Especially with their front 3. Need high energy in the team and constant closing down. Will more than likely start McTominay again after him only getting a half last night. Would kill to have Herrera on form for this game.

Depending on Martial's knock, I'd stick with what worked last night. Rashford on the left, Lingard on the right and Mata in behind. Leave Sanchez on the bench for a kick up the **** and hopefully impact the game later on. If we are winning I wouldn't put him in at all. Thats when you need Carrick in to keep the ball and keep it simple with Matic.

Yeah that ain’t gonna happen. Even though I agree with what your saying about Sanchez giving the ball away to much last night. But on saying that Pogba should not be starting either because he was worse than Sanchez last night. Least Sanchez gives you that high energy and press from the front. Wouldn’t be against Lingard and Rashford starting though on the flanks.

Think Carrick and Matic are exactly what we need. Cool, Calm, Composed who can pick a forward pass from deep protecting the back 4.
 
Romero would start in a midfield before Mourinho risks 36 year old Carrick who hasn't trained for 6 months in a game like this.

Been on the bench. You don't put him in against Liverpool when you need to be constantly closing them down and run for 90 minutes. And for a guy that recently had a heart problem you don't want him playing at that intensity. You bring him on late if needed to add a bit of calm and keep it simple. We need a lot of energy in the midfield. Stick with McTominay or even Herrera. I'd even drop Lingard back into a midfield 3 purely for workrate and pressing against this Liverpool side than put Carrick in from the start

We won’t be pressing or closing down we will park the bus and Carrick experience and positioning could be key. Also his composure as they will have most possession. The possession we do have we will need to have quality. Herrera will be out injured still.
 
If Mourinho parks the bus as deep as he did at Anfield (and I’m with you that he more than likely will. Why would he change from the only way he knows?), then more fool him.

This is one game he would feel the wrath of the home crowd he keeps narking at if he did that. Doing it at Anfield is one thing. But doing it at home the biggest game of this or any other season would be a whole unexceptable other.
 
Macheda hands down. The joy when he scored that goal for a title. ****. I remember recording in on my phone and showing it to my mates at school. That moment alone made my whole year.
