Pogba: "I have no problem with Mourinho. He's the coach, he makes choices, I have to accept them. I don't think he makes any decisions against a player, but for the team. I have to answer on the pitch." #mulive [canal+]

"You know, if I listened to everyone, I would be everywhere..." Pogba on rumors of transfer to PSG and leaving Utd.

"I am at Manchester United. I am only thinking about the present. We have a cup final & then the World Cup is coming. The transfer window is not in my head."

Be very disappointed if we sold Martial this summer, I know it has not really worked out but he is still arguably our best young player on his day in first team.

If we lose him I feel it is very short-sighted by Mourinho, it won't effect him but more the next manager who follows. Not that he cares about that but if I was Woody I'd be trying to stop this from inevitably happening.

Woody and Mourinho don’t want to sell him. We have offered him a contract he rejected it. Let’s see what happens next with negotiations.

Doesn't want to sell him. Doesn't want to play him. Never wants to play him in his natural position and wonders why he underperforms when he comes in from the cold?

Quite the set of contradictions.

That, I agree with. When he was given a consistent run in the team, he was excellent. Goals, Dribbling, the works. Now, he is a bit inconsistent. Of course he is. He is still young, but arguably the best dribbler I've seen in a United shirt in a while.
He is rejecting contracts because of his playtime. It's natural, but I'd do everything possible to keep him.

And we don't know anything thats going on behind the scenes. Lets not believe everything media says. Where would that lead us.

Ronaldo will come to Manchester United in June 2018???
January 18, 2018 (11:02 CET)
Contacts Real Madrid and Manchester United have been in contact for days. Both clubs are trying to reach an agreement on the possible transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo from the white team to the red devils.
They want Cristiano Ronaldo out

Manchester United, the only suitor:wub:
But apart from United, no great European club is willing to catch their fingers with the signing of a footballer who will soon become an old glory. Not only because of the amounts they demand in Concha Espina, but because of the stratospheric and exorbitant salary of the striker, which does not adjust to the performance that this season is giving on the pitch. But the British do not think to go crazy either. They do not intend to pay more than 100 million euros, and that if Cristiano is willing to not upload his current record.

Martial's natural position is left wing. He's never played more than a handful of games at any club at centre forward. His movement isn't good enough, or natural enough there. In fact nor is he hugely clamouring to play there. He needs to play more though, and that's what he's asking for. That said, Sánchez and Lingard are on fire, makes it hard to simply drop them.

I shall be bookmarking this page and reminding you if we come up against Madrid this year and surprise them. Again.

Just because.

The very last thing you do is write L'pool off in Europe. Regardless of the opposition. That should be a simple rule of thumb for any seasoned watchers of European football.

So, as it looks odds on a L'pool- Madrid final after the first legs of the semi, as promised back in August after the following discussion after you lost the Super Cup to Real, I have to ask .....

Still all as bullish and confident about L'pool having no chance against Madrid the final? (Indulge me that it will be that final as it currently looks.).

I think the only thing that might catch up with Madrid this year is they're running a little light to rotate like he has been after letting 5 big names go. (At this point. Obviously, that could all change with 3 weeks the window to go.).

If they don't three-peat it'll be heck of a ****** good side that stops them. By far and away the best side in Europe and with Barca losing Neymar, La Liga has just opened up even more to them.

That said, I'd love to see L'pool or City in a knock-out shoot-out against this current side. Quite fancy our chances against anyone in Europe under the lights and they'd be no exception with the speed to hit them going the other way. Be one heck of a game for the purists.

yers wudnt have a chance la

Many have thought that over the years.

Then they come to Anfield. Under the lights. In Europe. Madrid's last loss to an English side came in a 4-0 walloping there. And that was a ****** good Madrid side too.

Put it this way. Whoever faces these Reds in Europe this year will be as worried about L'pool as L'pool are them.

*Edit* Big believer in omens playing a part at this level. Convinced Barcelona are psychologically beat before they play us as soon as the draws made. The Catalan press drag it up that they just can't beat L'pool for love nor money. Never scored against us the Nou Camp. And I think we're still the only English side to win there. Twice over. (Or have someone else done that the last 10 years or so? I lose track.). Seen Messi 4 times live now and he's barely had a kick. If I didn't know he was a serious contender for GOAT I'd think he was 'just another guy' off those games. Similar Madrid. Great record against them including being the last side to beat them in a European Cup/ CL final.

Like I say, I'd fancy our chances against anyone in Europe. We just go together. Which makes the last decade's almost constant absence from the big tourney all the more disgraceful.

LOL. Scouse, Klopp would need some **** Lube if liverpool were to draw Real madrid in the group stages or KO rounds cause it might get rough or ugly

I'd put a lot of money on Real Madrid to knock out Liverpool if they meet in the group stage or the knockouts, although I would do so against pretty much every team I would feel confident in getting my money back with Madrid Liverpool

And scouse thinks Liverpool could go toe to toe with them lolol

Basically yeah, think I actually have bet on Madrid to win every game in the CL so far this season and it has worked out well. Think it would be closer than I would have given it then but still think Madrid will win the CL as I have all year

Arsenal presser-

Mourinho on Sanchez, "We needed a little bit more mental aggressiveness. I don't like the January market but it was a case of now or never."

Mourinho on Sanchez, "Next season I'm sure he's going to be great for us after a pre season."

Jose Mourinho retorted "no chance" when the subject of David De Gea leaving #MUFC this summer was brought up

"This season's better than last season," Jose says. "More points, more victories, more goals, less goals conceded, not consistently but many, many times better football, so I think there was a clear evolution in the team and hopefully next season we can do better." #MUFC

Eveyone fit except Romero! Dave stays :)
