Rafael is terrible, why don't we buy a right-back?
Had a terrible performance today but you can't judge a player on one match. That too when you consider that the entire Brazilian side barring Oscar and Hulk were poor today
Rafael is terrible, why don't we buy a right-back?
Yes he is.He was bad at the Olympics for Brasil, he was bad for United in the last seasons, I still can't forget what he has done in the UCL semi-final against Bayern.
United doesn't have a right-back for 2 or 3 years, we really need one !

Ahh even though Brazil did not play well, they could have perhaps won it if Oscar had buried the header as he should have. Still it was not their day and they were on the back foot early on in the match. Looked a different side though when Hulk came on.
And I am sure you Man Utd folk must be glad at not having to pay a crazy price for Lucas Moura. I have absolutely no idea what he has done to justify that 44m Euro move to PSG. And I thought Oscar was a tad expensive!
This is nonsense, he's been very good except for the final. He was mostly injured last season, and very good season before. And he is still just 22.
Yes mate, you just pointed out another problem there, he is injury prone, and if we consider that he is the only right-back in our squad this is a very big one.(Smalling played there but he is a centre back, Jones - same)
I don't have any problems with Rafael, but he isn't the right back we need, not yet maybe.
And ManUtd fans would be creaming their pants had we linked with and signed Rafael after playing in the olympics like he did.
Agreed about Lucas, not sure how this 45 Million price tag will help his progress as everytime he plays it will be mentioned and just adds unnecessary pressure.
Not sure what you meant by the first sentence mate
And yeah the Lucas transfer is crazy. Brazilian Clubs know that this is the last chance they will have of getting high prices for their players from European Clubs to the impending FFP era and are holding out for inflated sums. Moura is definitely a talented player although he has never shown the consistency and application to deserve such a big transfer
From what I know- He has an impressive array of tricks and skills which makes for great highlight reels. Perhaps he will do well in Ligue 1 for PSG but whether he will ever develop into a great player like he is made out to be is questionable
He's had two big injuries, mainly because his and his brothers accelerated work programme, have you seen how much bigger they are, they spend most of the time in the gym, since they arrived from Brazil. Its the same reason Welbeck gets lots of niggles. At 22 he is still learning, why on earth replace him?
IMO we have quality back up in reserves in marnick vermjil belguim full back. Fergie has said wont be loaned out this season and will get some 1st team game time was excellent for reserves last season, and was good in pre-seasons he played in.Rather buy a back up for Rafael instead of Rafael being the back up, more concerned with our cover at left back anyway.

No.Kagawa is playing like Scholes right now  this could actually work.
