That’s Utd under the Glazers. They crave the limelight on the club. Hence why social media interactions is always a big thing for them at the higher ups meetings. It’s literally the first thing they talk about lol, social this, social that, media views this, clicks, clicks, clicks

As noted, it doesn't matter what yes men are in charge, Woodward or his prodigies currently running the ship, nothing changes. There's only the manager that would appear his own man.

And for every one of him, there's ten de Jong saga's. Begs the question how are the leaks always with Utd players?

Apart from a very public courting of Bellingham until it became apparent to them they had too much to do this summer and walked away from a done deal, we've had jack **** come out in the main since the initial van Dijk fiasco that cost them 5 months and an extra £20 million. Now, we want a player, it invariably breaks and is tied up within 24 hours. After they've dropped smokescreens all over on other players to allow them to move in silence. They were internally P that Mac Allister's release clause got out a week before he signed. Albeit the rumours where Argentinian based and not over here.

It's like Utd court the limelight and act that slow, and revel in it so much, they end up getting bent over for ridiculous fees that if they'd moved in silence and quickly, they could have tied up early for a lot cheaper.

Even today, you can control what comes out and what doesn't if you run a tight ship.

Because, on global level, only two clubs are as big as United and generate such interest by simply mentioning them. There are countless examples of agents using Uniteds name to get a deal for their client, the latest is that CD from Napoli that went to Bayern.

The slowness in making any deals is the real thing and it has a lot of to do with the glazers and their indecisiveness, like with de Jong. Surely you contact the agent/player and ask if he wants to leave. The answer was clearly no, but they stick around for some reason. There's lot left to be desired and proper footballing structure is needed. United do look amateurish from time to time, but it hasn't always been like that. All started when Gill stepped down and Woodward came as his replacement.

That’s more than double what Szoboszlai’s initial contract is.

Mad how every transfer you do gets played out in public in stages. Moat of the transfer thread must be taken up with Utd transfers. This is happening today. Thia is happening tomorrow. very long and VERY publicaly drawn out.

No matter who is running them, you continue to be real poor at every part of transfers.

First of all, you are comparing Szoboszlai, player who's biggest achievement is being Austrian champion and named Rookie of the month couple of times with Mason Mount, who's twice the player Dominik is.
Second, Liverpool TRIPLED Szoboszlai's wages to 'steal' him from Newcastle, and Mason Mount salary is up to 250kpw, that is including bonuses. Base salary is 200kpw.

I hesitate to ask what two clubs are globally as big as Utd to justify the amateur hour nonsense of conducting everything so publicly.

I know exactly what happened mate as regards our interest in Mount. I’ve been on about it for a good few months in the transfer thread.

We hada contract boxed in principle before the season finished. (For a reported £150 k P/W).But as soon as Chelsea made it clear that they would only start talking at a ridiculous £60 million to come to the table, we walked away.

I don’t know about Arsenal or Newcastle but he didn’t chose Utd over us. That I do know. Just like Bellingham, we were the ones who walked away. You just saw the opening when we did and paid them the silly money they wanted. Its no big mystery.

I’m not even getting into it on the supposed 3 biggest global club thing but thank you for clarifying.

He took a single tablet from the medicine cabinet for a headache.
Accidentally took Lasimac instead of Litacold (a diuretic belong to his wife). The tablets where in a similar blister and foil pack, same size and appearance.
Uefa accepted this scenario and doctors said the active ingredient is for water-retention and doesn’t benefit you in any way (in a sporting sense).

They still banned him.

Without going any further, I'll just say that you should ask yourself why would Liverpool walk away from MM deal and then spend 70 million on a player who's plays the same roles as MM just a few days later.
Like I said few months ago, there aint a single global superstar player who's going to join Liverpool over other top clubs. They've been rejecting Liverpool left and right for past few years. Highest profile players Liverpool signed in last 10 seasons are Thiago Alcantara and Mario Balotelli. While there's nothing wrong with that, and I really respect Liverpool for finding the good players in weaker teams, it does tell you just how big Liverpool are.
Anyway, moving on. It is really pointless to talk to you about Liverpool if there's anything slightly negative in the context.
