Wouldn't mind Begovic at all, Lindegaard out. Physical goalkeeper is exactly what we need.
Simon Mignolet a very good keeper aswell.
Not sure either would want to sit on the bench though. I would not take either over De Gea, who is a superior shot stopper to all of them, and once he fully adapts to an aerial game he is going to be truly brilliant.
Yes i agree, still sceptical over De Gea, just seems like a mistake waiting to happen..
no doubt he could be a top class keeper though

United don't concede any goals and people start wondering about what keeper would fit United?
This is ridiculous. The time has come for De Gea to take the mantle as first choice. He's a magnificent keeper, and improving every day.
The only thing that held him back is lack of aerial ability, which Spanish keepers don't really get tested on. **** even Casilias isnt great in the air. Canizares is the last truly brilliant all round spanish keeper imo.
This season he is much better, not great in the air, but pretty good. As his English has got better, so has his communication, and in Vidic he has a defender who very actively communicates, something i really liked today both were talking a lot, and that will help him immensely. He should be the undisputed number one now.
I said last season Joe Hart makes as many if not many mistakes but rarely gets criticized. Again last week against Sunderland he did a mistake and I don't think there is even a single article on him (this season he was just ordinary with so many mistakes).
Its to keep De Gea on his toes and to make him more motivated to play well and cut mistakes out. If I was a United fan I wouldnt be to bothered seeing as they are top of the league. SAF will know what he is doingI don't get the point of so much rotation in the GK spot though. De Gea will improve, but he needs to play as much as possible.
Since we're talking about Casillas, reflexes are one thing, but he is also insanely experienced. But that did not happen overnight, he already had hundreds of games at the top level at De Gea's age.
Was saying this to my dad yesterday. Maybe it's because he's English, but Hart barely ever seems to draw criticism. He's certainly made more mistakes than De Gea this season. Don't get me wrong, he's a great keeper and England are lucky to have him, but he is slightly over rated in this country and the fact that people talk about him as being in the top 3 keepers in the world is just ridiculous.
Real Madrid apparently want De Gea.
The only reason I expect Ferguson to sell De Gea is in a part exchange for Ronaldo ^^)
It's hard to measure that, right? And when you have František Plánička as your rival, you always lose. You best not be hating on my boy Iker. Calling Casillas 'not great in the air' is false unless you're looking at it comparative to his shot-stopping. Just because he has the best reflexes of any goalkeeper in the history of the world doesn't mean he can't catch.
Also, with Vidic around he won't be forced to come claim the ball as often. Win-win.
