Great complete domination 3-0 win for the opening WSL match could have been 5/6. WH didn’t get a sniff. Great to see the new signings and young players. Also great rotation after going 3-0 up. Not something Skinnar is known for.

Only positives I can think off this season so far is that we aren’t conceding 20 shots per game anymore. That’s really it

We are a lot better in all aspects the stats back that up and I’m not really a stats fan. But they are there for all to see. But the most important one atm is top of the league for big chances missed. 18 after 5 games. This has been our only downfall. Liverpool match aside where we were just pants. But even then we had a couple of big chances.

We need Hojlund back leading the line asap. His shot conversion in top class. I would like to try Zirkzee behind Hojlund if Bruno form carries on. Not that he’s not creating or could have scored. But his passing has been rubbish for most parts. Mainoo hasn’t been great either. Think we should try Eriksen and Ugarte in CM. Or Casemiro and Ugarte.

Side note but I really like the long sleeve white to the point that it seriously tested my resolve not to buy any United merch (haven’t bought a kit since 2016) as long as those ***** from Florida are at the club.

I may have to skip watching all our away games

We were missing chances last season as well however we were conceding even more chances (partly due to our constant makeshift defense tbh).

Sure, we don’t concede as many chances but the narrative is still the same: we can’t sustain control for 90 mins (league one sides exempted), terrible subs and in game tactical adaptations (or lack of).

We could easily be on 0 points at this point if certain in-game situations played out differently. On the flip side, we could also be on 12 points (not counting that Liverpool game as we were just so inferior).
