Wouldn’t say it’s that huge of a gamble as he’s already proven in Ligue1 and the Prem and CL he can play at a top level. Looks like a great deal to me when you have a CM that’s been relegated twice and basically a run around merchant and younger go to Spurs for £85m.

Who would you guys want as third choice CM signing?

For me one of Sangaré, Kone, Bouaddi, Balleba. Someone who is physically dominating and can cover ground like no tomorrow and more defensively minded.
