Does anyone know who won the man of that match award? I mean I know Jones, Welbeck. Evans, maybe Ferdie and De Gea(what a superb display he had last night),but who actually won it?
David De Gea..... that save once again.... absolutely mental.

Still, it is anyone's game though, I think we shown them too much respect and I am glad Fergie noticed this by saying after that we stood off way to much, which we did.
Also I still find it concerning when we are Manchester United and are playing two strikers as wing options against Real Madrid. In my opinion we should of took the game more to them. Having said that RVP's second miss after he hit the bar was really awful, if he got any solid contact it was 2-1.
Finally I think Varane was lucky to stay on the pitch, he clearly held Evra back and the ref bottled it because it would of been a red card, but it was a clear foul, Evra would have no reason to go down when he is through on goal.
I think it ended up balancing out in the end. I have to say, Jones seemed to get away with a lot of shoving and shoulder barging last night, which was weird because numerous Madrid players were penalised for the same sort of offence.
All in all though, I can't believe that the first thing you have to say after that great game is something about the ref.

Ref was awful yesterday tbh.
RVP got yellow for nothing, it was given as Ramos rolled all over the pitch.
Then Ramos got away with blatant elbow on Evans.
Di Maria should have got penalty
Varane should have been off as he was last man and it was clear foul on Evra
Not allowing to take corner kick at the end of the game.

If we beat Reading then Chelsea or Boro at home in the next round.
Drawn a PL team 8 times in a row (Assuming Chelsea don't **** it up). Conspiracy, Gilluminati needs to step his game on the FA board.

Was looking forward to watching Cleverley and Anderson but they've disappointed a little tonight. Hernandez isn;t really offering much and as a partnership he and Welbeck are not really working. Need a linking player as Welbeck is better running the channels. Good to see Nani come on and provide a spark, just hope Jones' injury's not a bad one
No suprises there then, Anderson is just not of the class a United central midfielder should be. Really hope unless he puts in a very good end to the season with the chances he does get... we sell him and replace with some proven quality.
He's got the class and ability, his concentration just lets him down a lot though. You can see from his build that he's the type of player that needs constant games (a bit like Rooney) and he's just not had them. From what I understand, he took a long time to grasp the language, otherwise I'm sure he'd have spent some time on loan. Fingers crossed he can stay fit until the end of the season and show his worth.
