The Manchester United Thread

Sorry by class I kind of meant all round package like fitness, hardwork, consistency and obviously the ability he possesses.

No doubt the ability is there but I am still not convinced by Fergie's decision to move him to a Central Midfield position. Anderson for what ever reason doesn't look near fit enough to play as you would expect of a United player, whether that is down to lack of games or what ever but for example look at Giggs... he plays here and there now but still fit as a fiddle so that leads me on to my next point about Anderson's work rate off the field. Is he motivated enough at keeping himself fit in training and working hard to impress Fergie to get more starts? Judging the latter I would say he is not.

It's difficult to compare anyone to Giggs, he is a freak of nature. I don't think there are many players around that have the professionalism and dedication that he has.

Anderson does need to work hard on that side of his game, but he has a naturally stocky body shape and will only get fitter with regular games. My concern isn't his ability, fitness, professionalism or anything else, it's purely his injuries. If he doesn't stay fit then he will never be the player he could have, and he will never find any level of consistency.

Tbf, Anderson was not shocking yesterday. He was decent and had as good a game as Cleverley. In the second half he upped his game and there were times when he made brilliant runs and went all out attacking.

He was injured a lot and that's the reason he is not 100% match fit. And also his game is full of energy and that's why he gets tired at around 70th min mark, something similar to Cleverley.

He played few very good passes but we looked very disjointed in the first half, at least till Nani was introduced.

Anyways on Nani, what a player. It would be real shame if we let him go. On form there are very few who can win games with moment of magic in our squad. Our wingers are in poor form so Nani should be playing as many games.

He makes very good runs and the positions he takes makes our attacking play even more effective. His off the ball movement is really good and his link up play (flicks, one touch passing) clicked too. I'm a big fan of Nani and hopefully he makes RW position his own.

Man United have asked Porto if they want to swap Rodriquez for Nani.

Nani looked decent again yesterday. He looks like he's playing for the shirt again, working hard and putting himself about a bit more. I hope he can get an extended run in the team and we can get a new contract sorted.

And Nani won't even move to portugal. He is very ambitious player and his next move will be to either Serie A or La Liga.

Oh I remember saying this turk favoured the spanish and I also remember the criticism I had for it....
***** PLEASE ;)

Reminds me so much of the random red card for Van Persie when he was playing for Arsenal vs Barca. Team was on fire, Barca hardly in it, and it just changed the whole match and gave it to them.

Worst thing is that this was literally no way a red, he wasn't facing the player and was bringing the ball down. Do not understand it.

Top performances from Rafael, Vidic and Welbeck so far though. Really impressed with his Welbeck's technique.

high foot, but never a red card. Cracking goal from Modric, though.

Am I the only one confused as to why the commentators are sucking Welbeck's ****? He's energetic, but I really don't think he's played well at all.

Because he has totally taken Alonso out of the game as well as providing an attacking threat.
