All the clauses we have are pretty well confirmed. 25m buy back clause ( amount they paid us initially for Cesc ) 50% profit on anything over 25m and first dibs.
Why would Barca reject bids? Most likely because they still want to keep him OR want more money from him.
Why doesn't Wenger try to sign him? Because Wenger is still close to Cesc and knows that he doesn't want to leave.
It was rejected some time ago yesterday. Rumour is that you've upped 3rd bid to 35m or so.

Anyone else so tired of hearing from Arsenal fans about this clause which means so little? First of all Arsenal and Arsene Wenger have to show them the money and most importantly of all the decision still rests with the player what he wants to do.
I don't know which I find harder to believe.. Arsenal putting that much money forward or Fabregas wanting to go back to a club which still hasn't won a trophy and have shown little to no amibition since he has left.
Edit: I'm not being intentionally harsh on Arsenal but I am just so tired of hearing about how United can't do this for Fabregas blah blah because of a nothing clause.

No problem. Cesc is Wenger's biggest project and arguably favourite player so it makes sense. Also Barca believed Cesc would slide in seamlessly and wouldn't have any problems there so they could allow the clauses believing Cesc would stay until he retires.
BBC are slow with everything, this has been and passed. Various sources were reporting this last night and saying about a 3rd and final bid from United forthcoming.
Wenger said in one of the press conferences in the tour that Fabregas would be first name on team sheet for any team he'd manage. So if he's prepared to offer 35m for Suarez or 21m for Bernard I think he's pretty comfortable paying 25m for Cesc who is his favourite player after all.
Fabregas said back when he left that if he were ever to leave Barcelona it would be to go back to Arsenal. In the end all this is still talk and IF he does leave Barca then we will see. We though have IMO big upper hand in getting him compared to you. Arsene vs Moyes , London where his first born and gf live vs Manchester...

Fair enough, I haven't been 100% into this whole transfer saga with regards to Cesc, I don't see the point *** there are too many words and not enough action IMO. This however further satisfies my distaste with online articles though as I can't ever seem to find reliable and up to date articles. Do you reckon we have any chance of signing Cesc?
God knows. On the surface this shouldnt work.
But United have never been this public with a transfer, and usually when a transfer is conducted like this, its because 2 of the 3 parties would be open to a move. Fair to say Barcelona are not one of the two parties. Can only wait and see.
What? His contract is main reason while I find the whole transfer a bit hard to believe. If I understand correctly, Barca only gets half of all the cash above 25m. That will insanely inflate his final price.
Ninja edit: I tend to agree with Mike though. United wouldn't fire and publicly announce two consecutive bids, if there wasn't some confirmed interest form Cesc.

Doubt Dortmund will allow him to move unless your offer is too big to refuse. I'd guess you will be signing by the end of window Garay, Fellaini and either Modric/Cabaye.
Pay the right price, Gundogan is there for the taking. Just like any player for Dortmund. But having said that I would still prefer Gundogan over Cabaye.
