Few spanish sources reporting we have made a bid for Ander Herrera..... dunno how reliable they are. But assuming by United's logic when it comes to a CM, I'd probably say probably not very reliable. As he would be a very nice signing.

Fans complain all summer about not signing a world class mid. Club chases world class mids, fans complain it takes too long. Club goes for a top quality, but not yet world class mid, still not good enough.
If we're going that steep for Herrera, then why not just get Mr.Ross Barkley? Tbh.. Herrera is good but not great, not sure he would really fit with United anyway.

I'm just saying, if the price is as steep as you're suggesting, surely there are better alternatives, I mean for that price Ilkay Gundogan would be a fair shout. I know who I'd prefer out of them two!

How do we know he even wants to leave, though? He's happy at Dortmund and they're a CL club. Athletic aren't, so it makes sense to go in for Herrera.
No he isn't.
It is but this is the signing that shapes our season (potentially), Gundogan may/may not be interested.. but he's certainly not rushing to sign a contract with Dortmund which must mean he's obviously not too happy about something. I think the fact that their best players are leaving doesn't help the situation. His father admits moving to England/Spain is what he would like to do eventually, so putting a premature bid in now may get a positive result. Never know, for the price though that's really steep for Herrera and I can't see Woody, unless he gets a sponsor in return.
Edit: Moyes should rustle some feathers like he did with Everton, I'm sure Delph would do a Benteke (without the contract signing at the end).
His father also said he wants to stay for now and sign a new contract IIRC. Dortmund certainly won't sell. They lost gotze and won't stand to lose another key player hence the standoff with lewa
