Some one posted in RedCafe that we are close to signing Rodwell (Involving one player going to Everton or Welbeck on loan). He was spot on with the info about Young and De Gea.

This deal looks likely as Fergie likes the player, but if he is the only CM we will sign then I will be disappointed. But if Anderson can make Nani type improvement then I'm not arsed about signing another CM as he showed glimpses of what he is capable of..
 
i am all for securing young talent but i will be very dissappointed if we sign rodwell and no more central midfielders. after the signing of jones i would have thought our interest in rodwell would have cooled. SAF needs to bring in a top class creative midfielder to replace scholes and rodwell is not the player for the job in my view. we need a modric, nasri or sneijder.

I'm very pleased that we are signing our targets well before the preseason starts, with hopefully preseason under belt they can settle in quicker than expected..

Now one or two CMs and we are all set for the season..

Realistically, any remaining transfers could be completed before the US Tour and that can only benefit the squad. As I've said before, I think there will be two more signings (CM, LB) and atm I think those two signings may be Nasri and Izaguirre.

Hopefully not Nasri as we need a player who can play as CM. If O'shea end up leaving we need LB back up too.

And RE CM, I will be over the moon if we sign Ever Banega (Assuming Modric is not for sale)..
 
Nasri is a CM. His main position is CM but he doesnt usually play there as theres fabregas.

Ask Joss what Nasri's best position is. ****, ask most Arsenal fans who know their bees from their hornets and they'll tell you Nasri is a wide forward.

So only we barely missed Rio during his Injury spell.. He was rock solid in the 2008-09 and 2009-10.. (Maybe had few bad games in the end).
 
I will keep saying this, I just don't see the twins at rb/lb. Dunno why just see one of them moving forward if not both!
 
What's wrong with two Da Silvas on either wing? Both of them are capable of the job so why not?
 
I watched him just once vs Arsenal reserves and some short clips on MUTV website,i like him :D He's a real fighter! And we(United fans) like his goal ;)

But he can play CM...very well infact.

Banega would be a great signing too.
