I can safely assume that you have never watched Barthez. World cup, Euro winner and rated as best keeper in late 90s. He made few blunders but he was class goal keeper.

An error-prone prone goalkeeper - Check.

A tricky French wide-forward/attacking midfielder - Check.

An injury prone striker who can be brilliant when he is fit - Check.

Nope - we've got all of those positions covered, thanks. Barthez, Giuly and Trezeguet would not 'walk' into our team at all. Apart from anything else, they'd probably have to be aided by zimoframes.

At their peaks they would have easily walked into most of the top european teams.. No doubt in that..

Danny Drinkwater has scored once again for reserves yesterday. He just can't stop scoring.. Wouldn't mind him getting few mins in the carling cup. Looks like he has improved a lot going by reports.
