The Manchester United Thread

Can't say I am happy in the slightest that United have won the league. Congratulations though, a club I hate yet have the utmost respect for, well done.

Cheers

the feeling is most certainly mutual. Looking forward to Liverpool challenging for top 4 again, not quite the same

Well, now that my severe hangover I obtained after celebrating yesterdays Man City result has finally buggered off, have to say that now that the title is pretty much (barring a catastrophic screw up) Utds, what more can you say about SAF and Utd? I can't think of any more superlatives to describe how fantastic an achievement this is for the club.

Oh, but we will! We have competent owners and the King in charge. From 14th to 5th isn't bad for less than half a season!

The King is at New York Cosmos (6) And there's a much bigger difference between going from 5th to 1st than 14th to 5th (not literally of course ;))

Of course, but over the course of 4 months, it's certainly looking upwards. With Carroll/Suarez we finally have a strong front line, and there will be a lot spent in the summer.

brilliant performance today, Old Trafford was rocking (and people say United fans aren't vocal) Park was MotM today for me, what does the guy eat because his energy levels are unreal. onwards to Ewood Park (sadly won't be there) so hopefully the title unless a dramatic **** up will be lifted at Old Trafford vs Blackpool!

Got to take consolation that it's taken Fergie his entire career and a "golden generation" to end up only one more title than us. #LFC #MUFC

:)

Well ... we have dominated the BPL since then and also Liverpool haven't won a BPL title yet? You haven't won the top division flight. since 1990..

Right thats my morning 'Pool fan troll/rage done. ;)

Rumored away kit.. Hope this is our away kit..

I'm so chuffed for Valencia, coming from Wigan and all, love watching him play and always hoped the best for him after his move.

That kit is beautiful.. Also I'll admit something about Valencia.

I believe that at £16M, we overpaid for him. He wasn't worth that when he was coming from Wigan. However, I believe he's justified the price tag in his first 2 seasons at the club and I hope he stays here for a long time.

Always wanted to ask why was he booed last season at Wigan? Did he put a transfer request or pushed for transfer?

The Wigan fans are fickle, half of them don't even like football.. They don't sing (only a handful), I hate our own fans and they will never get better. The £16m for Valencia was just waaay too much to turn down though. Tbh though, I'm not sure what happened with him, I can't see him requesting a transfer, he'd be happy playing for Kettering as long as he's playing football, more likely pushed because of the fee. But I'm the same with all our players who have gone on, Baines, Chimbonda, Cattermole, etc. Well, maybe not Cattermole, as Bruce just left us and took him with him, the *******! XD

Wigan is and always has been a stepping stone for talent, McCarthy, N'Zogbia, Al-Habsi being three prime examples atm, they won't stay for much longer and Al-Habsi has used us to show how good he actually is.

Owner was convinced Valencia will be leaving, it was well known to everyone that Valencia will be signing for United. So felt bit strange when he was booed.

Yeah Wigan have had some good talents. Bruce is a excellent at finding talents though. Not saying he signed everyone, but many of the talents he signs are very good..
