The Manchester United Thread

20 goals in 19 starts, Will Keane better be getting some cup fixtures at least next season. And Pogba, Tunnicliffe, Morrison & maybe Van Veltzen too.

Jelavic claims United interest

Rangers star Nikica Jelavic claims Manchester United are preparing a £13million swoop for his services in the summer.

The striker, who has been a revelation at Ibrox since recovering from injury in January, netting 18 goals for the Gers, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford

in the Croatian media.

A switch to United would seem unlikely given the amount of firepower already at their disposal, with Wayne Rooney,

Javier Hernandez

and
Dimitar Berbatov

in their ranks.

But Croatia

Jelavic

has confirmed reports the Premier League giants are chasing his signature.

Jelavic told the Daily Record: "I know United are interested. My agent has established contact with them but that's all I know.

"My agent has mentioned a figure of £13million and I came to Rangers

for £4m so it would be a big gain for the club."

Hope this is a bullshit story. Don't want him, don't need him. He isn't good enough.

enjoy it while you can Mancs, it won't last for long, we'll be back :P

The past is Liverpool's, The present is Uniteds, but the future is up for grabs ;D
stolen from Brian Reade

Mickey Owen will get Premier league medal.. Superb..

Fantastic!!

Though don't see what the big deal is about overhauling Liverpool's title record. I do it in Football Manager all the time (6)

well I have to say it is a great day for Man United supporters, although many would agree that this is not their most convincing title win, Man United show remarkable spirit and determination until the very end of football games and managed to score those late winners and equalisers on a consistent rate, it says alot for the spirit of the team although I am sure Ferguson wished that he had not let his rivals have so many chances to overhaul their lead , well Chelsea and Arsenal did fail to capitalise on the numerous chances given to them to keep pace with United but all in all, nothing taken away from United, will always remain the most sucecssfull team in England to me no matter what history says

Brilliant, just brilliant. Wasn't the best performance but who in the **** cares. 19 times and it's now a fact, who would of thought it all those moons ago!

congrats on your 19th title SAF truly is the Premier League's greatest ever manager its not been your best season but you still manage to win the PL and get to a UCL final lol

well what can I say, we are awesome! lol

We are a bit gready aren't we. Just the way we like it though lol

Thats what sets some Man Utd fans from the rest. The arrogance (not in a negative way). It's a confident arrogance, but without disrespecting the opponents. Always realistic, and accept when the team plays badly, but don't go OTT when the big trophies/prem are won. And always give respect to the other teams aswell when due.

Agreed my friend. I know when to stop the gloating lol but this is a special title win so will go on about it for a few weeks lol

We played poorly today and the penalty was a bit suspect but it was given and the goal secured the title for us so i'm over the moon as you can guess lol
