The Manchester United Thread

Leave about his footballing ability, he is in a league of his own when it comes to popularity. I read in Barca forum posted by Mexican saying Hernandez is a hero there and all(Most of them) the kids, grown up wear Chicharito jersey. He is that popular. He is sort of Demi God.

He's a God to me. <3

Yeah he's become an icon for Mexico. They haven't produced many great players throught their history, often resorting to calling up foreigners, and to have someone of their own like Chicharito become such a good player so quickly provided a role model of sorts for the kids.

I think the swelling hasn't gone, so he looks strangely ;d

I still don't get why Rooney did that? So he's losing hair at the age of 25, so what...
I mean, what was Roberto Carlos supposed to do then? I think that he was always BALD in his whole career for like 19-20 years... I didn't see him getting a hair transplant!

(Please don't bury me with insults it's a halfjoke :D)

he does what he wants, i just hope in doesn't hinder his heading ability;)

Would be funny if the transplanted hair was a different colour to his natural :D

Javier Hernandez: I'll keep scoring for Manchester United to repay Sir Alex Ferguson

Javier Hernandez’s debt to Sir Alex Ferguson and United will spur him on to greater things. The Mexican striker was an unknown to Reds fans 12 months ago following his late- season signing from Chivas in Guadalajara for £8m.

The first glimpse his new supporters got was against England as a second-half substitute in a World Cup Wembley warm-up.

He then gave United fans a taste of things to come impressing in South Africa.

A year on and – after a sensational 20 goals in 45 appearances in his Old Trafford debut term that helped secure the record 19th League title – he is still at it for Mexico.

He scored his first senior international hat trick against El Salvador last weekend in the Gold Cup in America.

And the 22-year-old has vowed to keep winning titles for the Reds.

“I’m not a symbol or an idol, or anything like that. Football is not a sport like golf but a team game,” said Chicharito.

“I am very motivated after a great season with Manchester United.

“From now on I’ll owe a great debt to Sir Alex Ferguson for bringing me to Europe. My dream continues and has not changed.

“I want to win many titles to give back to the team that opened the doors for me
.”

He's 23 years old and we signed him for £6m not £8m.. Lazy journalism.

Ollie Holt from the Mirror behaving like a Class A **** on twitter:

"Here's @rioferdy5 opening gambit sent by DM "You fat *****, u got something to say about me missing a drugs test say it when u see me.""

RTing something a footballer sent you via DM? Really? No need for Rio to respond to criticism like that but most people seem in agreement that Holt is being a ****.
