We can't appeal unless red card is shown because of mistaken identity. Remember Red card for Fletcher which we couldn't appeal?
Im going to the reserves tonight anyone want any scout reports?
The game was a boring 0-0If possible do one on Petrucci and Pogba![]()
Former Manchester United coach Eric Harrison has hailed the current crop of Old Trafford youngsters as the best since the celebrated 'class of 92' which included the likes of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and David Beckham.
The coaching guru saw his young United graduates conquer the Barclays Premier League and the Champions League after helping them through the ranks in his role as youth team manager.
"After the so-called class of '92 this is without doubt the best group since then," Harrison told Goal.com. "They've got some outstanding players and remind me very much of my team because they are top-class technical players but they are hungry as well.
"Sir Alex is totally hands-on and without that the club would not have been as strong as it is at the moment. Their work-rate is phenomenal and you have to be like that to cut it at Old Trafford."
Harrison has also identified Tom Cleverley as the pick of the bunch of Sir Alex Ferguson's latest graduates, and backs the 22-year-old midfielder to fill the Red Devils void left by the retirement of Scholes.
"I think a lot of the likes of Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley but Tom is the best in my opinion and that is nothing against Danny because I am sure that both of them will go on to be England regulars," he added.
"He is so special because he is supremely fit, 100 per cent committed and he is supremely talented. He has got quick feet and the team look fantastic when he is in the thick of it.
"I don't want to discredit Danny or the others because there are about half-a-dozen top young players.
But for me at the moment Tom is without question so good that he is the best young player at United since Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham came on to the scene."
Oh and Phil Jones was there, and he came speaking to us as we were the only ones in the stand with no roof, LEGEND
A song for City, most of all, but also a song for all those who have suffered under the yoke of Sir Alex Ferguson these past 20 years.
After nearly two decades of oppression, it was the sound of English football getting its own back on Manchester United at last. It was the day when the team that has bullied the rest of the Premier League with the brilliance of its *football and the size of its support since the early 90s felt what it was like to be *humiliated.
The day when Old Trafford was left half empty before the end as supporters raised on glory upon glory streamed away asking each other whether this was the end of the dream time when we were kings.
That was why the jokes started zipping around the internet within minutes of City completing their rout.
“Crisis line for United supporters,” one gag went. “Dial 0161 61 61 61.”
“Thousands queuing to view the body of Jonny Evans at the Stretford branch of Iceland,” another wrote.
Everyone joined in the *merriment. Liverpool fans, Spurs fans, Newcastle fans and particularly Arsenal fans, whose wounds are still raw and bleeding after United destroyed them 8-2 here eight weeks ago. That was an *astonishing result, a result that was interpreted by many as the moment of devastation that could signal the end of the Arsene Wenger era.
And the same happened yesterday. Plenty queued up to bury United and Ferguson and to dance on what looked like a freshly dug grave.
It was only one result but it is hard to deny that it felt like a changing of the guard at the summit of our game.
