The Manchester United Thread

If I were a United fan I would be pleased, now you just HAVE to get midfielders.

Forget about game and pathetic arguments , do you have any idea on how painful it is to suffer such a pain for a year?

Feel sorry for him. But on the other hand, maybe when he's relaxing sitting on his couch, eating fatty foods, he'll put on the pounds he lost during his last stint of illness |)
But in all seriousness, I do hope he gets better long before he's expected to. Key person for United imo.

Oh come on, why do you have to make an argument out of everything, you were complaining about having lots of injuries, I merely pointed out the fact that it'll probably mean getting new midfielders in Jan. There's nothing to argue there...

I'm not making arguments here. Why will any Manutd fan will be pleased after this news. Pleased after hearing what happened to Fletcher? Sigh..

Edit: I thought you said that as you dont rate Fletcher. If not then my mistake.

Pleased because it will spur Fergie into making a new signing. If I had a bout of depression every time one of our own gets injured I'd have shot myself a long time ago...

Its not about injury. This is more serious than a regular football injury ffs.

And I added this

I never said anything about Fletcher in particular nor his injury. For all I care it could've been Carrick with strained ligaments or Giggs in the kitchen with the screwdriver.

Oh ok. Now hopefully Rooney will break his leg so that we can sign one more striker.

I'm lost. What's the arguing about exactly? :S

Not at all. Nothing about it this makes me happy. We had to get midfielders anyway, now it means we have to get more. Not as if they litter the ground

Yes, you should be getting midfielders, but as you mentioned a couple days ago it could've just meant Jones was going to be a mainstay in midfield and Evans was going to be playing CB for the rest of the season. Now there's no excuse.

It could still mean the same thing. only we draw up pogba/morrison/gibson. If SAF doesnt want to buy, then he wont. Personaly i think he absolutely must. But unfortunately i have no say in it

Of course it could, but I think SAF is wiser than that.

Then he would be spending regardless of the injury (which was his plan in the summer). there is no benefit from this, only a weaker midfield

...he's also THAT stubborn. Having only 2 competent midfielders is a good way to, erm, 'encourage' him to add a new player.

I'd say wait and see. SAF has a Sir in his name for a reason. He always does what's required when needed depending on situation

Personaly i'd think he dip in regardless of what happened to fletcher. This just makes things a bit worse. The last time this happened we spent well in jan... and went on to win 3 titles on the trot.

So maybe a blessing in disguise, with the window only being 19-20 days away too
