What happened to the Patrice Evra of 2-3 years back? He is easily Utd's weakest link today. Looks vulnerable every time Mackie runs at him.

That Evra is no more. This evra blabbers a lot, hardly walks the walk. He is a weak link.

On the other note, Evans has been fantastic in the half going for every aerial ball. Rio as usual calm and very assured performance.

Tbf everyone except Evra and maybe Carrick have had an excellent first half. Rooney and Valencia in particular have been splendid. Surely SAF must be looking for a Evra replacement though?

Ezekiel Fryers should ring a bell for you. He's Evra's replacement. Or even Fabio.

Is it just me, or does anyone think Jones would be better as a midfielder? Everyone's saying he's going to be Defender, but he seems more willing to push up the field instead of holding back. It could be the tactics Ferguson's using, but he does seem to be playing like Yaya Toure does for Man City.

Keane rarely goes to any footballing event etc. He is a bit of a loner, likes to keep himself to himself. It has nothing about being bitter. I doubt he would have went even if AF and the club didnt try and sue him for ridicules reasons.

Fryers is decent, but we need better than decent. Fabio is good, but lacks in concentration.
And I agree, Jones should be a midfielder, he has such energy... It's shame to waste it on CB.

We should have been 3-4 nil so far, I struggle to understand how can someone miss a goal from 2m with his head
 
Roy Keane has a valid point. Keane never had a Robson, a Cantona, a Keane playing for him. Sour grapes from both men I'm afraid. Both utter legends though
 
People who have criticised Carrick before-enjoy your humble pie. The ball is now in Citys court. Time to see how they respond to REAL pressure

In the form of his life right now. Always had the ability, not the consistency. Hopefully this is changing now.
 
Well done Carrick lad. Excellent stuff although it was Barton's fault for the poor pass. Can't remember the last time Carrick scored though lol.

Seems like no matter how many injuries have in the first team, Fergie ALWAYS finds a winning formula for each match. Outstanding
 
How is this just 2-0. God we could have scored 6 or 7 goals. Absolutely superb away performance.
 
I gave up Jones as CB. He is too good to be just a CB. He is a box to box midfielder like Roy Keane. Yeah, the player we struggled to replace for years, Jones is the answer.
