The Manchester United Thread

I'm also proud of the performance, particularly the first half...with a bit more creativity (basically the replacing of Giggs with a younger version IMO) we could have won by a few :) Also, I personally think a loan to another Premiership club could help out De Gea immensely, training with a team like Stoke each day for example = perfect!
Loan a 20m goalkeeper to some club ? Really ? He just need confidence, he has quality.
Hmm.

RAVEL MORRISON is at the centre of a homophobia row after using a gay slur to insult a fan. The midfielder, 19, who quit Manchester United last week for West Ham in a 3½-year deal that could be worth £1million, lost his temper on Twitter after a fan had a go at him.
Morrison remarked: "Go suck out u little f****t. Your a guy that talks if u see me you try slap me I'm in manchester every week."
He removed the offending remark hours later. Neither the player nor his agent were available for comment last night.
Alan Quick of The Justin Campaign, which fights homophobia in the game, said: "It's disappointing to hear yet another professional footballer has used homophobic language."

From that brilliant paper The Sun. I know he has left United but didn't know where to put this. This is the kind of thng that has made it easier for Ferguson to let him go

I agree on it being silly to loan him to another club, but he would benefit from training with a team like Stoke. Would beef him up and would give him a chance to practice and learn how to deal with a crowded penalty box.

But someone said it before, cant remember who, but the media have exaggerated it quite alot. one mistake = he's a disaster in the media's eyes. He has to follow up from Van Der Sar and has to be better than him in every way according to the media.
He's a great goalkeeper and makes mistake the same as any other.

I really think it would help...I don't mean now....i mean if he continues to struggle with crosses for the rest of the season, because it doesn't seem like he is been beefed up or becoming any more confident with the high ball. I recognise that he is a descent keeper with great potential and i want him to succeed. I also realise that the media ump on every 'mistake' even though other keepers make them as well, it's just my idea.

Well, he has eyes issue and he needs to bulk up a little. Then he will be even better. Ok, training with someone like Stoke or Sunderland would be good, but I have confidence in our stuff and SAF.

Illiterate moron. Most people grow out of using gay as a derogatory term at about 14.

Are you new to the internet? :p

Haha you have a point. Still there are a lot of people who would love to have his job. He has an amazing opportunity but spends his time misbehaving and showing the world what a thick pikey he obviously is.

Ryan Giggs signs a 1 year contract! He is truly unbelievable! LEGEND!

Is there a minutes silence tomorrow/today? If there is I hope the travelling Kop give a good account of us, the away fans are the proper ones, shame I can't ****** make it. Busby Babes, Y.N.W.A.

Johny Evans was solid! Improved brilliantly this season! Don't care what any fans think of him; he's being a reliable member and would improve if he gets his decisions right!

Evans has been very good this season except few games. Shame many are blinded by his last season shocker and can't see past that..

evans has been great this seas apart from 1 game i can remember, was composed played simple passes and defencise wise was solid! I have always liked him never complains and does job when fergie requires. Another good save by de gea again near end will only get better with run of game IMO !!
