Howard Webb's kids have denied their Dad is a closet #mufc fan."He's totally unbiased," Cristiano, Ruud, George, Bobby, and Roy stated.

I'm nervous to see Webb officiating our game. Looks like to prove he is not pro united he gives so many decisions against us, more so when we play Chelsea.

I forgot we only beat you because of ref decisions lol.

**** twitter rumours. It's Marriner.

*waits for jokes about Fergie resting Webb for the game*

Hmm. Remember in March when Marriner had an absolute shocker when reffing an Everton match. And I mean a shocker. A lot of things went unpunished and missed two stonewall pens.

Too much prone to mistake I guess!

ye I would say Jones or Park in midfield as some kind of cover for defence

I don't get why people are saying that this midfield would get overrun! Look here scholes can do what scholes would do best and then cleverley has terrific understanding between nani or/and welbeck plus 1-2 passing and that'd help! now Carrick is good at breaking up the play! Anyway whoever we play in midfield they all need to have their best game of the season!

none of those 3 can really tackle/ defend the back 4 very well. Going forward they'll be fine but, more likely than not, you'll be on the back foot more of the game

Could be but always seems solid when ive seen him and sure he just signed new contract.

the problem with us and it's a very good problem to have, imo is that we have probably too much talent in defence! Ferdinand,Vidic,The Twins,Smalling,Jones,Evans,Evra and all the players from reserves like Fryers,Michael Keane,De Laet etc.

Jones has his form dropped and Park has never been in form this season and it'd be very immature of SAF to play him! Wish we had Darren Fletcher!

How dare you claim Scholes can't tackle.

SAF immature? What are you talking about?! We're going to have to play 4-5-1 in order to match them and we're going to need energy in the centre of midfield. Carrick always seems more comfortable in a midfield 3 and Park will probably get the nod to be the player to support Rooney up top. I'd be tempted to play Cleverley over Scholes too, just for the youth and extra energy. I'd guess Young or even Welbeck will play wide left ahead of Nani because of the extra defensive capabilities and work rate - Nani failed to close Hibbert down twice on sunday and it cost us. Hopefully one of Jones or Smalling will replace Rafael at right back, we need a better defensive fullback for this game and the extra height will be important against their giants. Sounds very negative but I think it will be a cagey affair and it will at least give us firepower to bring on off the bench if necessary, a draw will suffice!
