Aye, unless something drastic happens with the ownership, which frankly isn't unimaginable. The Glazers are clinging onto ownership now, and the IPO didn't go as well as they'd have liked. On the bright side, our squad is quite young,
Yeah maybe then they will sell naming rights. Also in 2-3 years we will need big investment as Rio, Vida, Evra, Giggs, Scholes all will leave/retire/will decline and also new manager will have his own targets.
Core of the team is young and strong, just need few tweaks here and there, most importantly CM.

What about Rodwell? Rather he want to Trafford than City after what I've read. He'll get wasted if he went there.

You are totally right guys, we DO NEED a CM, if Carrick gets injured this season then it's the end of the road for us I guess.We were linked with Tiote at the start of the transfer season, sounds a good option to me, it's the best box-to-box in the league after Yaya IMO.

Really don't know tbh. I'm surprised too. Maybe the niggly injuries put Fergie off. If he went there, I'd have no doubt he'll become an excellent player with the amount of experience around him
We do have Jones, Smalling, Fabio (?) ready for the first 3 though. Possibly some youth prospects who could make it. I have no doubt Ferguson could make it on a £25m budget, whether his successor can is key. It's why Moyes has to be it, IMO.

Yeah CB I think we have cover with Smalling, Evans and hopefully Jones improves as a CB. We need at least one more and if Fergie thinks Jones position is not CB then 2 CBs. Maybe in 2 or 3 years he will improve with regular games. Also we have Keane who is very good talent.
If Brady can make it as LB then we are set in that position too, but lots of Ifs and Buts. Maybe next manager might not rate the players Fergie rated so we need a decent budget once SAF retires. God knows in which direction we will head once it happens.
I think Jose or Pep will take over and have a gut feeling it won't be Moyes.
