Most likely just born out of RVP's move to Man Utd, His agent confirmed that he is not looking for a move
 
I think Manchester United are going to beat Everton tomorrow instead of drawing 4-4 like last time we played them.
 
I think even fulham made the bid, around 1.5 Million. So for anything near that price it's a good risk. Hopefully he is good enough to put pressure on Evra.

Comes from ajax youth acadamy someone on redcafe just told me well worth punt for that price and would be good cover can also play as RB and CMD.

Yeah, heard fee is 1 Million euro as he has only 1 year left on his contract.Worth a punt as even reserve players cost more than that.

Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Vitesse Arnhem left-back Alexander Buttner.

Reports in Holland claim the Red Devils have agreed a £3million fee with the Eredivisie club for the 23-year-old, who is now set to travel to Manchester on Monday to undergo a medical.

Respected Voetbal International claim they have confirmation from Buttner, a member of Holland's preliminary squad for Euro 2012, that he is to set to join United.

Buttner had been set to join Premier League new boys Southampton earlier this summer only for the deal to fall through due to an unspecified 'demand' from an unnamed third party.

Sir Alex Ferguson now looks to have pounced to seal a deal for Buttner, who will provide competition for Patrice Evra in the left-back position at Old Trafford.

Ferguson had hinted that a deal was in the pipeline after revealing last week he could yet add to his squad before the transfer window closes on August 31 "if a certain player would become available".

And that now looks to be Buttner, if reports are to be believed, on the same day that rumours emerged that United were keen on signing Real Madrid playmaker Kaka on a season-long loan.

If this was the "certain" player we were looking for, then I will be surprised. Thought some one who will improve first team.

SAF said we will sign 2 players before RVP was signed. So this makes it 2. Thought after last year he will sign a CM but maybe he doesn't see our CM as weakness anymore.

Also there are few rumors about Dembele. I don't think we will sign him as we have signed enough players already. (have to check how many players we have to register for 25 players squad)
