And you think we would drop carrick or play a 4-5-1 right now ? The only good thing we are doing right now is attack ! I would prefer Vidic back for this match even if its for 60 min.Since he has resumed training.My lineup

No way we're playing with only 2 central midfielders - we're going to be torn to pieces. I think we can play narrow formation against them. For example:

De Gea
Rafael - Rio - Smalling - Evra
Carrick
Fletcher Cleverley
Rooney
van Persie Chicharito

It would be great if Ando was fit. But there needs to be someone with energy and Fletcher could do the job defensively. Alternatively he and Carrick can swap their positions. Carrick has the ability to play higher up the pitch. Fletcher would be just a ball winner there. And I don't believe Vidic will start especially if he plays midweek against Cluj. Just hope Evans won't start because he's been especially terrible IMO.

Play a diamond basically and the amount of times their fullbacks murder us would be unbelievable.

They've been playing with 3 central defenders and wingbacks/wingers in the important matches in the CL, so that's why it won't happen.

Yeh fair point, as much as a great manager Mourinho is, I always hoped we would appoint someone for the long-term. I just can't imagine Mourinho doing that.

Yes but they still played that way and probably will again this week.

Anyway Valencia was injured this weekend, Nani is out too. And all our 3 wingers are not playing well. That's the other reason for my suggestion of using a narrow formation - to utilize the players currently playing well such as van Persie and Chicharito.

Guardiola is the perfect, fit for you imo. He's young, he's driven, he's dynamic, he good tactically, he inspires players, he thinks long term and he values youth. Those are pretty much all the things you would want in a Fergie successor.

I'd personally pick Guardiola every time. But Mourinho wouldn't be the worst alternative in the world :D

Moyes is coming and he's bringing the big haired one with him. I imagine Ajt already has 3 different templates for the inevitable mammoth rant he'll go on.
 
I looking forward to the United vs City games when they are both managed by Guardiola and Mourinho. Imagine that as a champions league final!
 
Nothing game, nothing pefrormance cleverly injured giggs n scholes ***** wooton,buttner,jones,welbeck only players to have tried. If fergie was given roo game time should not of bothered was not in the game playing RW and powell was really dissapointig aswell!
 
Just to add to the yearly trend, not only now is Anderson injured as usual, but so is Cleverley, he's picked up a calf injury.
 
If De Gea get's dropped for the derby this weekend because of the goal he conceded tonight I will go crazy.
