Did Vidic pick up an injury on Sunday or not?

Kind of worried if Vidic has another set back we need to buy a CB badly, I don't want to rely on Ferdinand and Evans for the rest of the season. Especially considering they are both prone to injuries and then you just have Phil Jones who we are playing everywhere except CB and Smalling.

Is he a traditional winger or a winger who likes to play on opposite flank? I'm sure many ManUtd fans will say No to him if Nani stays as we have bigger gaps to fill than winger and striker.

Both. He's a bit of a hybrid. He doesn't play on the opposite flank - we have the extremely talented Yannick Bolasie there - but he does drift inside and use his trickery to create space.

I can definitely see Nani leaving.

So like right footed RW but still can drift centrally to create chances? Would have loved if he was Left footed winger :P

Going by Fergie's interview, I think Nani will stay. With the way Valencia and Young (even though he was decent in the last few games) are playing, Fergie will think twice before selling Nani.

Re Zaha, right footed RW that means we will have Valencia, Nani, Zaha wanting to play same position. Only reason I believe we might be interested is (apart from Typical Fergie's buy) we were very much interested in Lucas who is also RW.

i dont want Zaha okay hes decent but unless its like 5mil **** off!! bring in a world class cm id love someone like fellani tiote sandro etc to break play up im not a fan ov cleverly tbh when we play madrid barca hes not gonna have a chance vs world class players like ozil modric i want some world class players back at united!! get it sorted and a few good youths for future like okore hughes would be nice
Have you seeen madrid this season they have been absolute ***** and against players nowhere near clevers ability, he is instrementle in how we play and keep possesion and the ball moving through midfield. Him and carrick have been class together this season! Lol at modric small fish big pond looks so out of his depth can see why voted worst la liga signing this year by spanish media.

He looks extremely talented, but I think he will benefit, like Moses, from spending time at a smaller club first. He's not ready to make the step up to United yet.

Some top pundit, can't remember who it was, compared to him Johan Cruyff obviously in his younger days. Do you think he is really capable of becoming that level of a player Cruyff turned out to be?

I actually suspect you might be right, but there's nothing wrong with a loan, I suppose.

Come on. I'm biased, but there's no way Wilf could ever be the player Cruyff was. That isn't even a bad thing, it's just it's Johan ******* Cruyff.

No I mean does he have the unique type of playing style Cruyff did, just like the way he dribbles, goes past players, etc?

Still no. Cruyff was a languid, graceful playmaker. Zaha is a bustling, speedy trickster. I can't think of a less apt comparison.

Here. This is hardly Cruyff-esque, but what a goal it is:

That pundit was on a sky sports video, screw me for believing it may be true. I was wetting my pants at the comparison as well.

Woah the power he hits that ball, great goal.

"One of the players''

Exciting. A central midfielder and a left-footed winger would be nice Mr Gill.
