Can see Rafael coming off for Cleverley. We need to get hold of the ball in midfield more, but I'm surprised we didn't start Valencia for his defensive abilities. Clearly SAF wanted Kagawa to run in behind but we haven't had enough possession to get it up there.

Yeah maybe and put jones RB hope rafa dont get another card! Kagawa not playing bad making good runs like you said just need more possestion up top. Happy with half tho welbecks work rate is out of this world!

Good result could of lost by 2-3 but for some fantastic keeping from de gea, could of also won by 2-3 aswell. Jones,welbeck,evans were class tonight supprised welbeck not running on stumps after that lol, will do em at the theatre of dreams!!!

Just want to say that was a brilliant performance by De Gea, he gets a lot of stick most of it deserved so when he plays well he deserves full praise.

He gets stick that is deserved? ******* lol.. If Cech, Joe Hart gets analyzed like De Gea then whole paper will be dedicated to cover the miskicks, mis punches, poor clearances and shots that should have been saved.

English media is pathetic when it comes to targeted players. Joe Hart made howler and not a word was said. Just "it happens", De Gea was from Spain so they took it for granted that he is not suited for PL when fact is he is as good as anyone in the league when it comes to crosses. Sometimes he makes rash decision which gets highlighted more than anyone's.

Anyways on game, what a game Jones, Welbeck and De Gea had. Fantastic that 3 of our best players are our youngest players in the team. To perform at stadium like Bernabeu against likes of Ronaldo, Ozil, Alonso and many stats is just brilliant.

We could have nicked it but RVP missed easiest chance of the game and Welbeck shot missed by whisker.

He would be 'useless'. The only way Valencia could do something is that Ronaldo stayed on left flank. Because SAF probably knew that he's going to switch places, Valencia would be in no mens land. Reason why Kagawa and Welbeck were better solution than Valencia is they versatility, ability to switch places and play in the middle ( Kagawa).

I read many people saying Kagawa did nothing but I thought it otherwise. We were deep so understandably he didn't involve much but under pressure apart from RVP he was miles better than any of our players in retaining possession. Made brilliant runs off the ball. If we can play bit attacking game at OT and with Kagawa starting we can hurt them.

That's just the media's bollocks though mate, i slated Hart immensely at the weekend and actually have questioned his kicking for a long while now. I think fans blame the players at the right time, i slated Cech for his parried save which led to Newcastle's 2nd goal the other week as if it was Turnbull other CFC fans would have gone mental at him. Yes i think the media have certain agendas obviously but most of us me included do not give two ***** what the media say these days
