We lost our opening game, then won 25 of the next 29, spent a lot of this season breaking a number of our own records.
Not really considering the rest were poorer that's my case. All i am saying is that the rest have been poorer/stayed the same but Utd have improved.
Last season we had no Vidic for the whole season and took City to the last seconds. When City lose Kompany or Toure, they fall apart. On top of that we also lost Nani, Valencia, Rooney, Young, Ferdinand for significant periods of time and still only lost on goal difference. I fail to see how people can level anything against our title win because City have had a few injuries, when for the past few seasons we've constantly put up with the worst injury crises in the league and still come out on top. Injuries are inevitable. If you can't handle them, you don't deserve to be champions.
Whether you think other clubs should have challenged us more is irrelevant. We won on our own merit, not lack of competition. We went 4 months unbeaten. Won 25/29 games. On to break the points record for a season. None of those have anything to do with what the other big teams do.
I know you had the main injuries last season i never said you didn't. The way you still took City all the way just showed that you were a better side last season but got the bad luck with injuries. All i said is that this season City have had the injuries and you haven't which was always going to mean you will come out on top. I am not knocking the title win at all no title win is easy.
Vidic out for 2 months, Evans out for 2 months, Rio out for 1 month, Smalling out for 3 months, even Jones was injured for few weaks. Young was injured, Nani was injured, Kagawa was injured. Rooney was injured. We haven't had injures? Bull.
We lost Shinji for most of the season, Nani has been out and our other wingers have been about as much use as a chocolate teapot. May as well have been injured. And we haven't been injury free, we had to play Carrick in CB and Vidic has only been able to play anywhere near regularly in the second half of the season, and he still isn't at full fitness. Look at the difference at our defence when he plays.
Yep, there are no excuses. If we lose it it's our fault and we'll come back stronger next season. Others should try concentrating on their own team rather than us, we either win because there's no competition, we bribe the refs bla bla, never because we were actually just the best team and have been for the best part of 20 years..
Jesus Christ why you getting so defensive! Where did i say "Utd have had no injuries"? I didn't. My opinion that City didn't improve and has had some key injuries but Utd did improve and had less key injuries is a feesable opinion!
I know you didn't say that but whenever we win it we put up with people putting up some sort of excuse for why others didn't win rather than just saying "well done" and getting on with it so it just gets annoying. Remember this United side that is breaking all sort of records "isn't a great side" according to a lot of people.

I'd never do that, winning a title is sensational regardless of how good your side is/isn't. My personal view is that the PL is a poor standard this season but Utd have not really dropped down to others level. Mainly i think because of the heartbreak last season, Fergie was always going to make sure this season was Utd's season.

All i know these days is that we will have a new manager come August...... And then another come next January!

Clutching at straws but that is all we have these days so i'll take it lol.
we were not great bud, not as good as we have been some seasons, we barely got into 4th gear! Only after Vidic returned did we start to improve, mostly defensively but also all round!
We missed a gold in Kovacic. He went for just 10 Million. Will go on to become one of the best Inter transfers of last 20 years. Amazing player and kid is 18 and already looks level above their midfield.
