The Manchester United Thread

Arsene Wenger? Wtf if this happened... it would be unbelievable..

I would start a riot of it were AW! I cannot stand him, he has gotten worse and worse every year!

I have been saying it for years!

The day SAF retires is the day Mourinho joins United and tries to emulate him! I will bet on it

Sorry I made this post in the spur of the moment and it sounded like I meant getting Arsene Wenger would be unbelievable in a good way... I mean I do not want him and can't believe it would happen.

Unbelievable. I was so hoping to see SAF and Mourinho reignite their rivalry again. From an opposing fans view, I am happy he has gone. One of the best if not the best manager in the world and United will surely be worse off without him in the short-term at least

just found out about sir alex fergusion best manager united will ever have no one can replace what he has done.

wenger would not join united hes in love with arsenal id like david moyes been saying it for years all though gigs coukd retire be the manager.

Jurgen Klopp to United
Moyes to Dortmund (Said he would like to manage in Germany)
Martinez to Everton...

Can't believe Ferguson would retire without having a replacement lined up. I would probably put my money on Moyes. Top Manager

Im sorry but no footballing fan should wish away one of the greatest managers in the history of football just so you have a better chance at winning two games a year. It's like wishing away Zidane or Messi because they are better than the average player.

Lol. Did you read my post properly? I never wished him away. In fact, I said that I was hoping for him to stay next season so that he and Mourinho could rekindle their rivalry. But now that he is gone, only a idiot non-Man U fan will not feel happy. He was the greatest manager to ever grace the game and Manchester United will surely be weaker off without him for now

Fergie is the best manager of all time in my opinion, don't think I'll ever be expecting to see the same stablity and success he brought to Man Utd ever again, at any club. Sad to see him leave.

I really hope it's Moyes. If anyone deserves a chance at a top job, I'd say it would be him.

its currently 200-1 for Gareth Southgate to take over so make sure you get your bets in quick before the odds drop.

Queue the manager merry go round this summer!

Jose to Chelsea
Moyes to Utd
Martinez to Everton
Ancelotti to Madrid
Rafa to PSG

Why do people want Moyes so badly at United? What has he done that makes you think he can bring us success?

Because he wouldn't. The club already has its successor and the board has already ratified it.

For a club of United's size and stature not only domestically but also globally. Surely the next manager has to be success proven both within league and european football?

I meant that their was no way he would retire without a replacement being lined up. Could have worded it better :)

I'd like to see Ole Solskjaer given the chance. He has worked at the club as a player and as a youth coach and reserve coach. He knows the setup of the club. He has gone away and cut his teeth at management level and won 2 league titles. He could be a great choice

I'll back whoever has Fergie's blessing, regardless of who I would prefer. If that means Phelan strolling through in his trademark shorts, so be it.
