The Manchester United Thread

I dont know who is inexperienced in our lineup. This just tells us how bad we will be without persie.Valencia and young are the problem.I hope moyes understands this and learns.

Fabregas, Alcantara and Herrera must be pleased with themselves right now.

Because the club that was interested in them is losing 1 game against their title rivals away from home? Jesus christ. They must be ******* loving the fact they didn't go to Man Utd. The clubs they are at now are totally gonna win 100% of the games right? :)

Another dive by a United player. I wasn't surprised, and haven't been for awhile now.

There's loss and there's total embarrassment. Guess which this one was.

It's a loss, not total embarrassment. We lost to a title challenging team at their home..
You know what is embarrassing tho? Losing to a promotion team :)

Moyes is a tool, totally wrong selection, why da fuq would you start with that ****** useless piece of sh"t Young when you have Kagawa sitting on the ******* bench.... jesus.

Ahh, Liverpool the bastions of footballing credibility. At least Moyes publicly slated his player for diving, rather than firing up the T-shirt press.

Dunno about you mate but I was very embarassed. Losing 4-0 by the 50th minute while being passionless, toothless, bereft of inspiration and slow to whichever team is embarassing. And it wasnt the exception its a continuation. So far:

1. We beat Swansea away 4-1 albeit we were totally outplayed for 35 minutes till RVP scored out of thin air and the score rather flattered us.
2. Mourinho came for a draw and teased us being powerless and rather wet to stop him.
3. Lost hands down to an unispired Liverpool.
4. Beat a Leverkusen who offered little steel 4-2. I dunno about you but I was much more concerned about the manner of the two goals we let in than the four we scored. A concern totally justified by the manner of all 4 goals let in today.
5. Struggled to beat a very ordinary C Palace who for long periods were much better at ball holding than us.

And Moyes today had an excuse that was ridiculous: the fixture list! We are UTD we should beat or at least fight to beat whatever teams the hat throws at us. We are showing no fight, no desire and no playmaking inspiration.

Watching us so far this season feels like watching EVERTON in a UTD kit. I never thought Id say this about us in a million years but we ve been very boring to watch.

Im not filled with confidence about the future. I know its early days but Im not.

Not really. United were good for at least 3-1.

Lol, what a victory for Mourinho that was. Really winning the mind games with his amazing ability to not lose and show little inventiveness past "give the ball to Hazard".

3. Lost hands down to an unispired Liverpool.

Hardly uninspired. Fiercest derby in the country, Liverpool at home, Lucas and Gerrard beasting it in midfield. You lost to the better team on the day.

There's always a cloud on that silver lining, isn't there?

I... what. Did you even watch the game?

There are some complaints that have grounds, but some that are as per usual taking it too far.

5 wins and a draw in the last 5 iirc.

think that's about right aye. I expect slightly different with a new gaffer in charge and minus Fellaini, but that's what happens. But we seem to be doing okay so far.

I was at the match mate. Chelski's set up, substitutions etc were towards not losing. We wouldnt/couldnt have won that match even if we played it for days. Hence my comments.

Watch the match again. If you still think LFC were much better than ordinary then what can I say, I guess we got different standards.

Please youtube the Leverkusen goals again. If you dont think that our defending was pathetic (and a prelude of things to come against a much better Man not so ****** after all) then again I got nothing else to say.

Also you cant deny that Leverkusen offered little in that match. And please dont tell me its because of the way we played. It wasnt.

Yup. I was at OT. And for the first time in ages we were laboured and boring. If it werent for that iffy pen I shudder to think what would have happened.

I really hope you are correct. I really do. But the way I see it this season is shaping it to be a big debacle on and off the pitch (the less said about our transfer market activities in summer the better. As I said I'm not at all confident especially with that limited idiot at the helm ...

I realise Fellaini is a decent player, but I do think he made Everton pretty predictable, and he's quite petulant as a player and tends to give away a lot of FKs and slows the game down around him. Perhaps the introduction of Lukaku and McCarthy, and improving the quality of the first XI and bench will help push them into a European spot without the 'long ball to Fellani, knock down to Jelavic' route which was running out of steam.
