The Manchester United Thread

Di Maria. 3 assists and a goal. Wicked.
Also, cracking game as well. 4-1 for Argentina.

Just been reading good things about Rojo on his performance tonight , on various Forums. General consensus is that he had a solid game passing was fairly crisp. And nearly everyone said he was the most imposing defender on the pitch.

Our falcao
That came from heaven,
Hallowed is thy name,
Arsenal have come ,
Danny wellbecks gone ,
In herreraerth , as it is in Evans .
Give us this day , our Daley blind
And forgive those who don't press.
As we for give jones who back passes against us .
And lead us not in to relegation ,
But deliver us the title ,
For thine is the rojo , shaw and di Maria .
Forever and ever
Our woody

Sorry mate but I just get incredibly frustrated when a persons arguments are devalued by arbitrary factors such as the team he supports. Like for example, if I make a comment condemning United's transfer spree, immediately people will mock me because I make these comments as a Chelsea fan instead of actually debating on the matter at hand as to whether United's transfer spree is justifiable
Tbf, I think that your opinion about financial spending and the old argument of we earned pour money and success, you just bought it clashes fantastically against most united fans as we view it the opposite of you. That combined with all the hate from the media about us over spending for players we don't need means when you share your opinion of us spending on players we don't need it sets us all of.
Don't get me wrong, you are entitled to your opinion as am I, but arguments are going to happen through it as it does with every fan whether its a Chelski and United fan going at it, or Barca and Real Madrid all the way down to MK Dons and Wimbledon.
That is just football

Well, thats not true, we're under the limit and could have easily gone for the loan with Negrado & Richards leaving, but i've no idea why they didnt in the end. We're well under the FFP restriction, and now a striker shy... baffling but not a major concern with the options left.

Thats extremely surprising because Pelligerini obviously wanted him ... His wages perhaps?

What a performance from Di Maria. 3 assists and a wonderful goal against world champions. Fantastic.

Dressing room unrest, maybe. Falcao will want to be playing almost every match, which means another position will have to be taken by one of Aguero, Dzeko and Jovetic. Probably decided it was just not worth the trouble.. The decision is rather strange.

Or City have just freed up wages atm, but maybe actually needed to sell before paying loan fee for Falcao?

Roma apparently already have plans to get Adrian Rabiot in January from PSG. Just praying that is cover incase Strootman leaves, and not incase Pjanic leaves.

Get Strootman in January, and hopefully, Hummels will be our primary target in the summer, depending on whether or not Dortmund can adequately challenge for trophies this season. Reus will most probably move to Bayern, prompting more departures.

With them, our team will be completely set, maybe barring striker, depending on how Rooney is at the end of the season, RvP's injury status and Falcao's debut PL season.

GOOD BOY!!!!

But now with the Argentina squad, Di Maria told ESPN: "You do not think about those things, you think about working and doing your best."I am grateful to Manchester for paying what Real Madrid asked, for loving me as much as I wanted.
"They did not drop a single pound of what Madrid wanted. I am very grateful and will try to give everything there."

What the **** happened to the Germans? Yes, di Maria obviously played well to make three assists and get on the score sheet himself, but this is a team that won the World Cup. Has the loss of Lahm really hit them that hard?

It wasn't a full strength team. No Hummels, Ozil, Mertesacker, Schweinsteiger, Khedira, Boateng. The loss of Lahm obviously has hurt quite a bit, there's no doubt about that. Add to that, their current captain in Schweinsteiger wasn't present too, and you can see why they were in a bit of shambles. Germany coach didn't give much importance into winning this, hence the strange subs.. Plus, German defence couldn't keep up with Argentina's pace in di MAria, Aguero and Lamela.
