Name me one journalist who hasn't been wrong lots of times in the past?
He did break the story that the clubs have been in discussion and that United are ready to take him back. He also broke De Gea, Suarez, Bale and Di Maria. In fact, he had Di Maria's squad number and fee before anyone. Everyone that reported that story had Balague as their source, because he broke the story.
So on one hand you agree that he has been wrong several times yet you attack me when I question his reliability? Imo, most if not all journo's get a lot of things wrong and that's why you don't see me following any of them on twitter or anything. I don't feel that simply because Balague added his weight to the story then it suddenly becomes more believable. As you just conceded, he has gotten a lot of things wrong. This discussion is getting quite pointless now so PM me if you have anything else to add
is he playing that badIm glad we did not go for Ozil!
is he playing that bad
Has been since the end of last season for me. No interest in doing anything for the team, passing been awful and gets brushed aside so easy. Like I said glad we did not pay that for him.is he playing that bad

Fallacy. No needs for words like this so late in the dayThats a general fallacy mate regarding OZIL:
"The Daily Mail's obsession with Mesut Ozil - whose name appears seven times on the MailOnline's football homepage alone - is fast bordering on the unhealthy.
Not only does Matt Barlow dedicate his Arsenal preview to a lengthy 'TIME TO STEP IT UP, MR OZIL' diatribe (complete with statistics that show the German has dropped from creating a massive 3.11 chances per game for Real Madrid to a mere 2.75 chances per game for Arsenal. Oddly enough there's no mention of his record of 2.9 chances created per Premier League game last season being second only to David Silva).
But the real vitriol - of course - comes from Adrian Durham, who hates Arsene Wenger with a passion that most of us save for sexual felons and dictators.
'How brave is Arsene Wenger? He's seemingly immune from the sack at Arsenal so he's under no pressure in his job whatsoever. So when does this manager show courage in his work?' asks Durham in his online column.
'I guess what I'm really asking is this: has Arsene Wenger got the bottle to drop Mesut Ozil?'
Durham bizarrely claims that Ozil's 'mid-season lull now lasts from August to May'. The key word in that sentence to Mediawatch is clearly 'now'. We're wondering when 'now' began...
Does he mean 2012/13, when Ozil claimed nine La Liga goals and 13 La Liga assists for Real Madrid in just 23 starts - evenly spread across the season?
Does he mean 2013/14, when Ozil claimed five Premier League goals and nine assists for Arsenal in just 25 starts in a season interrupted by injury?
Or does he mean 2014/15, when Ozil has quite clearly done very little (apart from create the same number of chances every game (2.3) as Aaron Ramsey, Christian Eriksen and Samir Nasri) in his three PL games?
As it's only September, we're struggling to see how Durham knows that this particular lull is going to last all the way to May. And still struggling to understand how he managed to blag this gig."
You never know mate. But realistically speaking, he still has time left on his contract so transfer fee will likely be huge. The wages he will command will likely be huge as well. He is also 30 now and has had persistent knee troubles. Perhaps most importantly, he is not a player you need either
Then again, i personally think it will be awesome to have one of my favourite players back in the EPL and I can't even begin to imagine the joy United fans would feel if he comes back
If anything Ronaldo would mean the end of Valencia and Young. Januzaj would still get plenty of game time with the league/cups/cl.Ronaldo has had his day at United IMO, I don't really want him back for a few good seasons at the end of his career.
We need to be concentrating on our biggest weaknesses and signing someone like Ronaldo will virtually bury Januzaj's chances of first-team football, which IMO is more important than getting Ronaldo back for a few seasons.
Tbf it wasnt persistent injuries. It was one injury that was badly managed by Madrid and Portugal.
We still need a CB as it stands, but having him back would be immense.
Wages wouldn't be an issue.
We could definitely do with a world class winger, i suspect if he were to arrive it would mean the end of RVP
I think its unlikely though.
No one doubts that having him back will be such a huge boost mate. But again, I think it's unlikely and I think the sum of money that would be spent on bringing him back could be better spent on 3-4 players to nicely round off your squad
We dont need 3 to 4 players, and its not like we are lacking money right now.
I'd quite happily take ronaldo and a CB
