The Manchester United Thread

I don't wanna be that guy but if IF he did come back which 1, 2 or even 3 players would that signal the end of? I doubt even fergie could manage a team featuring di maria, rooney, januzaj, ronaldo, mata, falcao and rvp while keeping them all relatively happy and using a balanced system.

If the club plan on getting ronaldo do we then not plan on getting falcao? do we let rvp and or mata go?

Probably let Falcao loan run out and get rid of RVP.

Which would be utterly pointless especially if he has a good season.

Falcao would have to perform a satanic ritual and raise Georgie Best's spirit from the grave before I'd take him over Ronaldo.

Can't see RM wanting to let go of Ronaldo any time soon, unless he forces the move, which I doubt.

Even Perez would want to keep him, as he's like their global asset.

Just a pipe-dream IMO and not worth breaking the bank for, considering his age and other priorities right now. Also I'd like Januzaj to be a key player for us and despite what anyone says, Di Maria and Ronaldo in the same team and he's hardly ever going to get a look in.

He wouldnt get rid of Falcao and RVP as that would leave only one top line striker in Rooney, plus two highly talent youngsters. Only one would go.
Rumours has it the permanent deal for Falcao is already complete, the only thing that will see the deal not go through is a reacurence of his knee injury so Falcao defo wont be the one going imo. Agree with you only 1 would leave. But I can see them all staying even if Ronnie does come back. RVP will most probs hang up his boots soon anyway.

[h=1]Rafael: I want to stay here forever[/h]Rafael returned to the starting line-up for the first time since March when Manchester United hosted QPR - a welcome return for one of the Reds' most popular players...
You've been in Manchester United's first team for six years now. You're classified as being homegrown -do you feel like that?
To be honest, definitely. I came here at 15-years-old so I have to say that I feel at home here. I feel this is my home and I would have to say yes.

Something Neville said some time back that Rafael was with United since he was 14 years old. Now Rafael himself said he was at ManUtd since he was 15.

I love him and his attitude and work rate are 1st class. If he can stay fit will be key for us and get back to being one of the best FBs again!

Thought that was pretty much common knowledge? Didn't United pick the twins up from some famous youth tournament?

Gotta admit that getting Ronaldo back in the EPL would be something else. Loved watching him tear apart defenses

Don't really care how much he'd cost or if he's coming up 30. He's our club icon and still head and shoulders above any other player on the planet bar Messi. And the way he looks after himself, I don't see him suddenly dropping off a cliff at 32.

Love him.

No. It was not very obvious. We signed them when they were 16 but they joined after they turned 18 in 2009. So general feeling was that they came to England just then or 6 months before. Gary Neville was the first to tell that Rafael and Fabio used to visit regularly when they were just 14. This topic came when he counted them as ManUtd academy players.

And the way he looks after himself

He's not, though. He's ben playing against recommendation of the doctors most of the last season. I admire his dedication and work ethic, but he needs to learn to scale down, if he wants to play to his mid 30s.

True. Was thinking more of his gym work.

Yeah, he's insane when it comes to that. If I worked half as hard as he does I would be president of the galaxy by now.

For the sake of the galaxy then, please stay as a lazy ******. ;)

We go again tomorrow and can jump above the scousers, could easily slip up at leicester though.
