I don't think any ManUtd fan is happy about that but we have to think from player's point of view too. He is good enough but not getting chances at ManUtd. He is good enough for top table teams so there is no way he will sign for midtable clubs. I'm happy that we let him go rather than wasting his career. At least with Rooney it was understandable as he was our first choice.

Welbeck offers a lot off the ball and to the team in general. Fantastic at linking-up play, with someone like Falcao would of been pretty effective in my book.

But Van Gaal thinks Rooney, RVP, Falcao are better than Welbeck so he left. There are rumours that after MK Dons match Wilson was ahead of him in the pecking order.

Im the opposite I want my STRs to score goals not be outside the box we have enough players to link up play and be creative for us.
 
Sweedish media leaked team looks like the same but Mata drops out for Falcao and Rooney in AMC role. Not confirmed though!
 
Mata dropped for tactical reasons LVG has said. I watched all Leicester games and this is what is best for this game. Mata will be key for UTD this season says LVG.
 
Really harsh on Mata. He hasn't done anything to be dropped. But captain has to play, right?
 
I'm sure all of Mata, RVP and Falcao will get game time and LVG will keep them happy, though.
 
Got to say, weren't keen on LVG's comments on Rooney being a guaranteed starter due to being captain, don't think it's good not to have competition for all places and I don't think Rooney's been that good so far this season, particularly before the QPR game.

That's the way it is Captain starts I have no problem with that. Same for Gerrard,Kompany,Terry
