We signed 2 genuine CMs and Di Maria who plays centrally. So that's 3. I don't expect any team to buy more than that for the same position. We signed starters and should use others as back ups. You just can't keep on buying like you do on FM.

To Zzezzy, Jesus is overrated. He had a couple of good seasons in the easy Jewish leagues but the second he came up against the Italian giants he got seriously wrecked. Played a passive game, hoping for a peaceful draw, but one devastating cross and it was all over. He had a career renaissance a bit later of course, and the disciples of his style have been influential, but as a manager his accomplishments don't measure up to the real giants of the game.
How we didn't sign a back up for overrated Jesus is beyond me. Allah was available and there are 100s of Hindu gods who were available for relatively cheaper price.
Mohammed could have been huge for you but I guess his image problems are a serious stumbling block for a global brand like United.

Tbh I wouldn't mind him as a squad player as he stays fit, physically strong and not a bad passing skills. His defensive contribution is good.

In a nutshell, I agree. United need better players than Anderson or Fellaini. However, United failed to sell them for various reasons and you can't just get another player if you have Fellaini, Carrick, Fletcher and Anderson as your backup options. First you need to sell deadwood to make space for fresh saplings.
Kind of did. You have 3 new CMs. Three. Your entire first choice center midfield is made of new players. That's already huge amount of movement on the market and it was very risky in terms of gelling the team. This isn't Football Manager where you can replace 15 players in one window and get away with it.
