The Manchester United Thread

I'm fine with valencia coming in when needed and just doing the job much better option imo over fletcher and fellaini, intresting thing is does carrick fit into this diamond because the right sided one still has to provide decent width and carrick would be best suited to the blind role.

I miss park, what a guy and the definition of a big game player.
Park was class no dout! Loved that guy. Will be great to have Carrick back will give us more options, and can help control games. Against Chelsea I would start Carrick,Herrera,Blind,DiMaria in a diamond.

Lol, latest rumours are that Monaco are trying and apparently are pretty confident of a move for Rooney happening in the future..

I had to laugh a bit.. Monaco could give him significantly more money, but as a club, their financial position is a bit unstable, at the current rate, they'll never be Ligue 1 champions, and they have a small stadium. Not to mention, two of their 3 best players have left..

wtf guys. I'll have whatever it is you are smoking! IMHO buying players of his standard mostly in the past few years is a major reason for our problems the past 18 months.

He was excellent squad player and a major player for us in big games. Did you forget how he closed down Pirlo so well which won us the game against Milan or the countless goals and performances against Arsenal.

Also his performance against Chelsea at OT in 2010-11 season was just amazing. Buying players like Park was not the problem, Fergie relying on them too much and without proper set up was the issue. Playing him in a midfield 2 was an issue but playing him in a packed midfield was not.

Sorry mate but Park was a major part in our success for years, and especially in big games. To think otherwise is pure madness!

Wtf, McNair is injured now as well. Who the **** runs United's medical team. Mr Bean?

KEANO - You ve got to love him!:

Robbie Savage was made available by Blackburn boss Mark Hughes, but after phoning him to discuss a deal, Keane chose not to pursue the transfer.
'I rang Mark Hughes. Robbie wasn't in the Blackburn team and I asked Mark if we could try to arrange a deal. Sparky said: 'Yeah, yeah, he's lost his way here but he could still do a job for you.'' Keane explains.
'Robbie's legs were going a bit but I thought he might come up to us, with his long hair, and give us a lift - the way Yorkie (Dwight Yorke) had, a big personality in the dressing room.
'Sparky gave me permission to give him a call. So I got Robbie's mobile number and rang him. It went to his voicemail: 'Hi, it's Robbie - whazzup!' like the Budweiser ad. I never called him back. I thought: 'I can't be f**king signing that.'"
Keane also details his concerns over the dressing room music at Sunderland, with the players' pre-match preparations not meeting his expectations.
'It might seem strange but you find out about characters when you look to see who's in charge of the music,' Keane continues.
'A young lad might want to put on the latest sound; an older player might say: 'I'm the senior player' and put himself in charge. But I noticed none of the (Sunderland) players were in charge of the music and this was a concern for me.
'A member of staff was in charge. I was looking at him thinking: 'I hope someone nails him here.' The last song before the players went on to the pitch was 'Dancing Queen' by Abba.
'What really worried me was that none of the players - not one - said: 'Get that s**t off.' They were going out to play a match, men versus men, testosterone levels were high.
'You've got to hit people at pace. F**kin' 'Dancing Queen.' It worried me. I didn't have as many leaders as I thought.'

Yohann Cabaye not happy about playing time at PSG and has become disolusioned by life in France. Also claims many big stars in France feel the same. Maybe time for some cheeky bids :)

Fair few rumours going round about Vidal joining us in Jan after falling out with the club, after him having a night out. Also not happy about being dropped either.

Vidal is quite a diva from the looks of it. He had a night out before the game AND he got into fist fight , and he's surprised club wasn't too happy? He's a great player, but **** him and his attitude. With a large cucumber.
