Ikr? Even going by recent past, Cantona, Yorke, Cole, Solksjaer, Sheringham, Nistelrooy, Forlan, CR7, Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov, RvP, Falcao. And I'm not even counting attacking players from midfield like Beckham and the like. Boggles the mind.

Ronaldo, Rooney and Argentinean **** was beautiful partnership. Let's hope Di Maria, Rooney and whoever else can replicate that.

I know lol. They score from 2 set pieces, then get one in the last min and don't go for it. Instead they leave a gapping hole in the middle and get done over!

Dont think they re our rivals really. Without Suarez they re pretty average. Willing to bet good money that come next may they' ll be nowhere near the CL spots.

Agree will finish 6th or 7th I reckon. Cant wait for MNF now we getting everyone fit. Fecking MNF another one of Moyes **** ups!
 
Ffs Qpr and didn't even realise how close liverpool were to us, during the two weeks chelsea and city fist us hope they also drop some points.

Liverpool 7th? they'll easily finish above spurs and everton.

Think thats a big statement to make. Any team will struggle with their best striker (Sturridge) out as well as having to contend with midweek matches for the first time in 5 years. Give it some time. This was a team that was a whisker away from winning the title last season after all

I have to agree I don't think they will either. There business has not helped!

Their business has been pretty solid imo. People like Lovren, Lallana and Lambert are pretty solid players. Sturridge's injury has not helped matters and Balotelli is having a torrid time atm which obviously won't go on forever. Give it time and I expect them to start looking like the team of last season soon enough

Eh ... I don't think so. Balotelli can be absolutely massive on his day and his performances should only improve once Studge comes back. I think people are reading too much into this when the season is only 8 games old!

I really cant see it and a lot of Pool fans at work cant either. Thats the problem with Sturidge he is injured or always carrying a niggle, and Balo will just get worse and worse as things dont go his way especially after missing that open goal today and hardly ever in box or links up with team mates. Lovren is anything but solid and not worth what is paid for him! Lallana I do rate, but think Coutinho is better in that role. Lambert does not suit there style of play and cant see him playing much. I really think they wasted Suarez money bar Lallana.
