100% would love Chiellini, but can't see that happening.

Still don't think our defence is good enough to make us consistent and perhaps we shall even miss out on top 4 if we don't address it in January.

A CB is a must for me... really be shocked if we risked it by leaving it till the summer.

Oh and we simply have to get something from these two games against Chelsea and Man City. Really hope we can put a performance on, but we are still lightweight as a team and we may have a hard time against both of them.

Reports saying Herrera and Di Maria douts for Sundays clash with Chelsea.

Then we're royally ******... our squad players underneath them are ****.

Actually if Carrick is fit we may be ok... but Di Maria is huge blow. Ashley ****** Young.. come on down.

Doubt you are royally screwed ... Chelsea will probably miss both costa and Remy by the looks of things and even your defense can cope with 80 year old Drogba. I think

Isn't Costa supposedly injured every week then magically appears on the team sheet.... every week.

Di Maria will most probs play as was just a dead lead from a knee in the thigh. Think Herrera will defo be out for Chelsea game, so expect Carrick to fill in. I expect Fellaini to start also instead of Mata or Januzaj if we play 4231 like WBA.

its your midfild thats the scary thing you could put fat ronaldo up top with that midfild and he would get a **** load of goals

thats not a bad line up but was just saying how scary there midfild is
That's why I went for this. Got players who can control tempo/ball in Carrick and Blind and will offer good protection to our back 4, with Fellaini helping them out and giving us that presence at defending and attacking set pieces, will also hold ball up in open play. And Valencia if fit will help out in CM and at cover for Rafa, also will help Rafa as they link up well. And Falcao well is Falcao :)

Yeah that didn't happen last week which is why I think it's for real now lol ... He would be a big loss

Sky saying Drogba or Solankie could start as douts over Costa/Remy.

Costa can play through most things so if he is even 70% fit, expect him to start because our games afterwards are Shrewsbury and QPR where he probably won't be needed

I'm not complaining over Falcao, he's quality.

But I'm not being short-sighted or short-term with my thinking, like when we bought RVP that was a short-term signing.

Falcao is as well, if it's supposedly already done, it's a **** of a lot of moolah for him and we will probably get 3-4 seasons of him if we're lucky at his best.

Just saying considering our situation it's not ideal to again have another 29 year old (come next season if it's permanent) to build our team around.

Really think while our signings have to be of quality, there also has to be some sense of long-term about it as well, like Shaw, Di Maria and Herrera.

Even Rojo, but I don't think he's very good, however it is still a thought in the future.

I think Rojo is getting better game by game imo, and will only get better when playing in a settled back 4 which we can do now. Got good feeling will turn out good signing in the future.

By the time Falcao goes at 33, Wilson will be approaching the start of the peak period. He is a brilliant natural talent who could have the next 4 years learning form one of the most lethal players on the planet. Thats pretty good planning there.

Not every signing needs to be 7-8 years.
